Magic: The Gathering is getting a "AAA" RPG experience, announced Wizards of the Coast today. The planned RPG will be developed in partnership by Crytpic Studios and Perfect World who together have both made names for themselves in the MMORPG space.
Simply titled "Magic: The Gathering", the proposed video game adaptation of the popular card game doesn't have a lot of details other than the insistence that it is a "truly unique AAA game" said Cryptic Studios CEO Stephen D'Angelo in the announcement. "Everything from the graphics to the gameplay is being targeted for a truly unique AAA game," and the game is being built for consoles and PC "from the ground up."
