"So I start off down the track and I almost immediately put one tire off the track. Normally, in Forza 3 I would just power out of it no problem and continue driving. With Forza 4, it actually felt like I was off track. It took me a few seconds to get back on, and it actually involved getting off the gas and turning back onto the track. It was the first immediate detail that felt different, and I loved it. So I made my way on down the track and I came up to my first turn, I downshifted into the turn, got back on the gas and tried to slide through the turn. “Tried” being the key word here! It felt a bit off, but, again just like before it was a “good” off. I felt so much more connected to the track than I have with any other racing game I’ve played before. I read an article talking about how they had partnered with Pirelli Tire and that they were able to grab data directly from them to revamp the way the tires worked in Forza Motorsport 4. From what I can tell, it worked. Suddenly, sliding felt more like an accomplishment than anything. After a couple more corners I really got a feel for the car, I already understood how everything worked."
