PATCH NOTES UPDATE 1.1.5​


CRASHES​

  • Fixed a crash on consoles that could happen when the player selects ‘Open Free Camera’ from the Pit screen during a Quick Session/Official contest or while watching a replay

AI

  • Fixed an issue with AI lap times sometimes being unrealistic

REAR VIEW MIRROR

  • Enabled smooth distance fade for grass for consoles
  • Increased console grass cull distance and decreased overall density
  • Improved fade and cull distance for all platforms
  • Increased object cull distance scale to 100% for consoles
  • Increased mirror resolution on all consoles
  • Increased mirror draw distance on all consoles
  • Adjusted mirror sky colour to improve the visual fidelity
  • Fixed an issue where the rear view in-car mirror and the virtual rear view mirror showed different distances

GAMEPLAY

  • Fixed an issue where, after you finished an online race, you were not able to spectate or exit the race results screen. When you cross the finish line now, the results screen will show up after 3 seconds through which you will be able to spectate or exit the ongoing session
  • Fixed an issue where you would be put into first gear when using “Auto Transmission” and pressing the throttle while waiting for the race to start, resulting in a false start
  • Fixed an issue where if you disabled the virtual mirror it would just be a black bar
  • Fixed an issue where the Drive Line assist was not always visible even though it was enabled in Singleplayer

PENALTIES

  • Fixed an issue where penalties were applied on transition between race stages. The UI can still show that a penalty is applied but this is only visual and has no effect on the gameplay

QUICK SESSION

  • Removed the BoP screen

UI

  • Fixed an issue where the lap count was sometimes missing in the stage result screen
  • Fixed an issue where the player position marker on the minimap didn’t align with the actual car position and automatically inverted in certain sections during Time Trial
  • Fixed an issue where the ‘Wrong way’ indicator incorrectly displayed after passing the first turn on ‘Orchard Road Street Circuit’

STORE

  • Changed livery pricing in the store to 100R$ for normal and 150R$ for dynamic liveries. Everyone who purchased a livery with the old pricing will keep their access to it and get a full refund of their spent R$ added to their account.

SETTINGS

  • Fixed an issue where changes to the Nvidia Reflex settings were not saved

XBOX

  • Updated incorrect terminology used for “Start Engine” icon in the controller image

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Players can re-enter the track from spectator view, after a race. They are visible for other drivers but don’t have any collision
  • If the player spectates their own car, when a race is over, their car will appear to be rubber-banding
  • Game crash on Xbox when the player tries to watch the same replay twice
 

PATCH NOTES UPDATE 1.1.6​

AI

  • AI drivers now utilize traction control resulting in making them a bit more stable on track
  • Removed drive line position adjustments for blue flags. This is to avoid the cars driving to the middle of the track when blue flagged as it caused some erratic sliding for the AI cars
  • AI drivers now keep more throttle when going uphill on Spa
  • Reduced the throttle limit on grid starts to make AI cars a bit faster
  • AI drivers are now drawn more towards the inner boundaries of T1 to make the gap a bit smaller, making it harder to pass the AI cars early in the race

RENDERING

  • Improved the cull distance on all tracks so objects do not pop in as late anymore on all platforms
  • Fixed an issue where cars would briefly appear invisible when exiting the pit lane on the Founder’s Track

GAMEPLAY

  • Fixed an issue where the own car selection reset when you exit the lobby and go back in again
  • Fixed an issue that caused Championship races to award zero points to the drivers, resulting in no medals being awarded

SERVER

  • Optimized server performance which results in more stable online contests and reduced amount of lag and disconnects

SDKS

  • Updated Fanatec SDKs for PC (v5.17) & PS5 (v4_14)
  • Updated Logitech SDKs for PC (v1.3.0) & PS5 (v2_2_8)

TRACKS

  • Fixed some collision issues on Founder’s Track that allowed you to drive outside of the track
  • Fixed an issue on Monza where you were able to collide with a truck and force the car outside of the track

REPLAYS/SPECTATING

  • Increased replay storage size on PS5 & XBOX
  • Fixed an issue where you were able to enter back to the track, from spectator mode, after a race is completed
  • Fixed an issue where in replays the button to tilt the camera was missing when in free camera

SETTINGS

  • Fixed an issue where setting in-car camera movement to 0 would still result in the camera moving a bit inside the car
  • Fixed an issue where the projection correction setting would not do anything when changed
  • Made it possible on PS5 & XBOX to rebind the following settings & Quick Wheel/Pedal Setup is now also available :
    • Steering
    • Throttle
    • Brake
    • Clutch
    • Upshift
    • Downshift
    • Handbrake
    • Secondary Throttle
    • Secondary Brake
    • Secondary Clutch
    • Secondary Upshift
    • Secondary Downshift

UI

  • Fixed an issue with incorrect gear ‘1’ being displayed in the gauge HUD for the ‘BMW M Hybrid V8’ and ‘Porsche 963 LMDH’ cars when starting the ‘Time Trial’
  • In session settings, disabled all options apart from damage
  • Missing string table entry solved when replaying Championship
 
Reizen würde es mich ja schon auch. Aber angesichts des geringen Umfangs und vor allem einer fehlenden SP-Progression lass ich es. Für ein paar freie Rennen kann ich auch ACC spielen.

Patch Notes Update 1.1.7​


Cars

  • Praga R1 has new tires and a tweaked set-up

Crashes

  • Fixed multiple game crashes related to the pit crew

AI

  • Fixed an issue with the Porsche Mission R where the AI did not go full throttle on parts of tracks with banking
  • Fixed an edge case that allowed AI cars that are DNF & DNS to set lap times when the session is already over
  • Fixed an issue where AI drivers sometimes received a valid finishing lap time when the stage ended even if they were still in the middle of their lap
  • Smoothed the target point for AI drivers, allowing them to follow the drive line better when no other cars are around
  • Adjusted AI behaviour to prevent them from insistently approaching the drive line during the first part of grid starts

Championships

  • Fixed a bug where championship progress failed to update when clicking “Finish Round” and skips the reward screen too quickly

Consoles

  • Fixed an issue where if you have both a gamepad and a steering wheel plugged in, when the gamepad went to sleep, it would show a pop-up message that your gamepad disconnected (Sometimes in very unfortunate moments during a race)
  • Updated default bindings to address feedback from the community that the ignition input was being activated by mistake

MFD

  • Updated the MFD to have both forward and backward navigation

Pit Stops

  • Fixed an issue with the Ford Mustang GT3 that the fuel cap was on the wrong side resulting in weird snapping from the pit crew

Settings

  • Fixed an issue where Anti-Aliasing settings were not always saved

Official Contests

  • Added a rejoin button which will allow you to rejoin the contest if it’s still in the Practice or Qualification stage. If you rejoin while the contest is in Qualification stage, you’ll be sent to the pits and able to spectate the remaining session but you’ll be able to race as normal once the Race stage starts. Rejoining is not possible during the Race stage.

Spectator/Replay

  • Readded a button that was missing to allow you to tilt the camera when in Free Camera mode
  • Added a “Live” button for live replays which will jump to the latest point in the replay
  • Fixed an issue where spectator visibility bindings for managing the spectator overlay were not working

Safety Car

  • The safety car has been temporarily disabled in online contests until it learns how to behave
