Since I've been seeing loads of questions about the remaster I thought it'd be nice to compile an FAQ of sorts here.

When will the remaster be out

On Steam its 6pm BST

On Console its 3pm BST.

I recommend using this time zone converter to help nail down the time it releases.

Physical Copies

Physical Copies are restricted to US/Canada only. Digital copies are available for all regions.

Will I get the game for free?

Only if you own Borderlands 1 (Only the base game is required) on PC via Steam if owned or purchased before the release of the remaster. Console versions are not releasing for free even for owners of BL1 on consoles so you'll have to buy it again.

Those who own all the other Borderlands games on steam (not counting tales) should also be getting 75 golden keys.

What will the remaster bring?

The remaster will essentially update the game, new legendaries, higher resolution graphics, some new UI elements and more options on PC such as an FOV slider. It'll also include all the DLC from the old version.

FOV Slider is also being added to the console version.

Golden chests will also be added and will work the same way as the BL2/TPS gold chest.

Some bosses will also have balance changes. (Only the destroyer has been confirmed to be getting a buff)

PS4 Pro and X1X players will get the option to play in 4k with HDR

PC Users do not get HDR as confirmed by IGN.

Cosmetics for characters such as hats are also being added.

Download size of remaster?

On PC It's slated to be about 12GB on console its around 25GB.

Save transfers from older consoles

Currently unknown at the moment but for now its best to assume that it can't be done.

Laut denen auf dem PC total instabil.
Wundert mich ja nicht.
Glaub das stammt vom selben Team die Bioshok Remaster portiert haben, und die Teile waren auf den Konsolen ja auch ne halbe Katastrophe.
Ansosnten Performance 1a und Grafisch nun wohl das beste Borderlands bis 3 kommt

Hab alle 3 Games mal gestartet:
-Die Spiele vergessen nun bei mir immer die Settings.
-Teil 1 ruckelt abnormal im Menü.
Das läuft sobald ich nen Char wählen will mit 14Fps
Ingame lief es aber smooth soweit.
Im Steam Forum ist viel gemecker über Fps Drops auch mit Kalibern wie ner 2080ti.

-2 und Presequel laufen normal gut haben aber nun bei mir Mikroruckler.
Vorher nicht.
Haben laut dem Steam Forum auch viele
