Im Wagen vor mir fährt ein geiler Shakal.

Dieses abgewichse auf Exklusivspiele ist sowieso der größte Kindergarten ever. Ich fänds geil wenn man z.B. ein Gears auch an der PS4 und ein Last of Us auf der One zocken könnte. Und für die PC`ler freut mich das auch wenn sie in den Genuss neuer Spiele kommen ohne nochmal extra in eine andere Plattform investieren zu müssen. Dann noch Crossplay für alle und jeder dürfte zufrieden sein.

fänd ich auch geil, wird aber leider nie passieren... in den 80ern gab es doch mal so einen versuch mit dem 3DO ... wenn ich mich nicht irre... das ging grandios in die hose... ich glaube auch eher nicht, dass sony sich in der einzigen (?) sparte, wo sie noch ordentlich gewinn machen reinpfuschen lässt...

ich denke, nachdem ich das interview mit phil gesehen hab, dass der preis der scorpio sehr hoch sein wird. als er das wort "high end konsole" in den mund nahm, dachte ich mir sofort: "das wird auch ein high end preis" ...

meine vermutung ist, dass das ding wohl zwischen 800 und 900€ liegen wird... und ich würd es trotzdem kaufen

Spencer: Scorpio won't do anything for you if you don't have a 4K TV

"Still running a 1080p TV? Then you should forget about buying Xbox Scorpio.
That’s the message from Xbox boss Phil Spencer. He was asked by Eurogamer about the thinking behind announcing the new Xbox One S only to an hour later reveal a brand new machine, Xbox Scorpio.
“You should buy [the Xbox One S], because Scorpio is not going to do anything for you,” Spencer said after asking the reviewer what TV he had – in this instance a 1080p set. “Scorpio is designed as a 4K console, and if you don't have a 4K TV, the benefit we've designed for, you're not going to see.
“Clearly, you can buy Scorpio, and if and when you decide you want to buy a 4K television to take advantage of the increased performance, obviously the console will be ready for you. For us in the industry, it's easy to think that most power is always the thing that wins. If you look at last gen, what won? The Wii won. The Wii sold more than we did on Xbox 360 and the PS3, and it wasn't the most powerful console out there. Price is critically important. Wii was a good price and it had a great experience.
“Scorpio is for the person who's got a 4K television, who's really focused on 4K gaming. It's going to be a premium price over what we're selling this one for, and both of them will exist in the market at the same time. Scorpio is for your 4K gamer. And that's what we designed it for.”
It was speculated yesterday that while it seems Xbox Scorpio will have a quite significant power advantage over PS4 Neo, that advantage will come at a cost – that literally being the cost, which could be some $100 more than Sony’s new machine."

Glaub ich auch nicht. 599 kommen mir aber schon realistisch vor. Vor allem wenn da wirklich 12 GB GDDR5X drin stecken. Vielleicht ja auch 499 ggf. mit Subventionierung.

Aber 4k ist doch kein Muss für die Entwickler wie man liest. Wer sagt dann jetzt das die dann nicht einfach besseres AA, stabile 60fps, mehr Effekte, bessere Texturen in ein 1080p game packen?!

Never ever wird auf der scorpio alles in 4k laufen. Da braucht man ja selbst aufm PC ne Mörder Hardware für, auch wenn die Scorpio ein geschlossenes System ist...

Damit wird mir jetzt auch endlich klar, was das Konzept von MS hinter den ganzen Konsolen ist. Und damit bin ich auch leider raus :-(
Premium Preis nur für 4K-Gaming. Deshalb werden auch alle Scorpio-Spiele auf der One laufen. Weil die Auflösung der einzige Unterschied ist. D.h. die Power der One wird weiterhin der Maßstab aller künftigen Xbox-Spiele sein. Schade.

Naja enttäuschend......vergleich mal 4k und 1080p bilder........wird alles andere als enttäuschend ^^

Also mir ist ordentliches AA, 60FPS und eine aufpolierte Grafik hundert mal lieber, als 4k in 30FPS und mit Grafikeinbußen.

Kann mir auch wirklich nicht vorstellen das nur User mit 4k TV die Zielgruppe sind. Die dürte dann wohl ein wenig zu klein sein.

Das kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. Vielleicht noch ein, zwei Jahre Cross-Gen, wie es eben normal ist, aber irgendwann wird sich die Scorpio durchsetzen und auch entsprechende Exklusivtitel liefern. Die verbauen da doch nicht derart potente Hardware, um die lediglich an Auflösung "zu verschwenden". Wenn, dann wäre das hochgradig lächerlich.

Mit der Aussage rechtfertigt er wahrscheinlich nur den Kauf einer One. Also von wegen "Wartet nicht mit dem Xbox-Kauf auf die Scorpio, sondern schlagt schon heute bei der One (S) zu, weil... die Scorpio ja eh nichts bringt, wenn ihr kein 4K Setup habt."

Ja das trifft es auf den Punkt. 4K brauch ich im Moment nicht und ich kann nicht 1000€ auf einen Schlag für TV + Scorpio ausgeben.

Ich bin mir sicher, dass das nicht so eintreffen wird, wie momentan propagiert. Diese Aussage wurde nur getroffen um die Xbox One Käufer nicht zu sehr zu schocken, dass der Nachfolger schon in 2017 kommt.
