Soure Engine 2-Anzeichen in Valve Filmmaker gefunden

Discovered by Valvetime.net, files located within Valve’s Filmmaker program reference what could be the studio’s next-gen engine.

This line of code in particular catches the eye, “Return an str with the current engine version. If key doesn’t doesn’t exist, assume ‘Source’, otherwise invalid — assume next-gen ‘Source 2′”

Was ähnliches hab ich neulich im Neogaf gesehen:

>E3 2013
>Lights go off
>Commotion and confusion all around
>Gaben is standing before all as they flash back on
>People silently stare waiting for Gaben's announcement
>Gaben pulls a crowbar out of his pants and holds it high above his head
>Cheers flood the crowd; hugging and fist pumping all around
>"Starting tomorrow the Crowbar is now available for purchase on TF2 for $3.99!"
>Gaben walks off stage

Half-Life 3 mit Open-World wie Skyrim und Release erst nach 2013?

Speaking with Journaldugamer – by way of OXM – the source said that Half-Life 3 features saw a “total revision” following a “very chaotic” development schedule.

It was said to have been developed as a straight-up shooter but the source suggested that it ‘failed’ in that format, before being reigned back towards puzzles and exploration. The source also stated that Half-Life 3 will have a “open-world, quests and NPCs”
