ja ein Saturn hätte ich auch gerne. Bei mir ist nur immer das Prinzip wenn ich eine Konsole kaufe, will ich sie gleich in der OVP. Sieht im Regal einfach cooler aus. Leider steigt ja dadurch der Preis. @JohnnyWohlfahrt wie zockst du eig Policenauts mit dem englisch Patch? Gibt doch soweit ich weiß kein Emulator oder wie machst du das?

Step 1: Get a copy of Policenauts. The easiest thing to do is buy a hard copy from a reseller.
Step 2: Rip your hard copy of Policenauts to the BIN format. For the Saturn, you can use any ripping program: Alcohol 120%, ImgBurn, CloneCD... Just make sure you use the BIN/CUE format, and, of course, remember that you have to rip all three discs.
Step 3: Install the free version of IsoBuster.

This is a bit trickier. Load the first disc's CUE file into IsoBuster. Then you need to right-click on "Session 1" (on the top left part of the screen), "Extract Session 1 (Content)" -> "Extract User Data (*.tao, *.iso, *.img, *.wav)". When the program asks you to choose a destination, use different folders for each disc. Repeat the process with the remaining two discs.
If you want to make sure you have the proper ISO files, here are the corresponding checksums (you can check them with whichever tool you prefer):

bestes Rennspiel EVER !!! und der grund warum ich überhaupt bock auf Rennspiele bekam, war gleichzeitig auch mein erstes Saturn Spiel damals im Bundle ...Sommer 1996
spiel ich auch heute noch immer wieder gerne für neue Bestzeiten, einfach ein "all time classic"!!
naja ich hab vor einer Weile erst die News gelesen das der Kopierschutz des Saturn nach 20 Jahren nun erst geknackt wurde. Ich denke das es nun noch kein Emulator gibt. Staune das du einfach so die gebrannte gepatchte Version aufm Saturn spielen kannst.
BTW fahre ich ja im Oktober zur Retro Börse nach Hamburg. Hab 2 Jahre immer wieder Geld weg gelegt und will dieses mal richtig zuschlagen. Ich schreib mal was ich so vor habe und würde gerne wissen was ihr machen würdet.
Mein einziges Ziel bis jetzt was ich definitiv schaffen will auf der Börse ist Zelda 1 und 2 aufm NES complete zu bekommen. Ich hab von beiden Teilen das goldene Modul hier und will versuchen dort sie bei einem Händler der beide Teile CIB hat einzutauschen bzw Rabat auf seine Versionen zu bekommen.
Dann bin ich bissl hin und her gerissen. Entweder ich nutze die Chance und schlage einen riesen großen Berg von PS1 Spielen für mein Fullset weg oder ich hole mir zwei drei Kracher für das System.
Ebenfalls hab ich mein Auge auf eine bestimmte seltene Konsole (die ich jetzt noch nicht verraten werde) geworfen die ich gern CIB haben und eine neue Collection von Spielen beginnen will. Dann würde aber die Idee von einem großen Lot PS1 Spielen weg fallen.
Ebenfalls hab ich die kleine Hoffnung das ich dort einige Schallplatten von Data East mit den Sountrackts von einigen Spielen finde. Bin schon lange scharf drauf aber die Preise sind ja da leider auch sehr hoch.
Wie würdet ihr denn an solch eine Börse wenn ihr mal Geld in der Tasche habt ran gehen? Bin da wie gesagt noch recht unentschlossen.

wenn du vor hast dir einen PAL Saturn zu holen, dann nicht das neuere modell da ist das laufwerk so ziemlich billiger schrott, unbedingt zum ersten Modell mit den ovalen knöpfen greifen... das ist gebaut wie ein russischer panzer!

Policenauts ist allerdings ja auch kein technisch sonderlich aufwändiges Spiel, wie das nun mit Spielen wie bpsw. Burning Rangers wäre, habe ich keine Ahnung, aber wie gesagt auch gar kein Interesse dran
Ohne Weiteres kann man die gepatchten CDs auf dem Saturn nicht abspielen. Dafür habe ich aber einen Action Replay. Nehme ich den raus aus dem Cartridge-Slot, wäre es sofort wieder vorbei mit dem englischen Spaß

ja ich meinte die Schallplatten. Den Shop hab ich schon gemerkt aber leider ist da der Versand insgesamt doch Recht hoch... Daher hoffe ich das ich vllt welche auf der Börse finde.

also ich würde sagen das es ein US Modul ist. Steht ja auch Sega Genesis auf dem Modul. So wurde das Mega Drive doch in den USA genannt.
