FIXES
Changed RGB Levels for Screenshots: A change to output screenshots in RGB Full for improved clarity when viewed on a PC.
Increased background image maximum size. The maximum size for background images on your dashboard has been increased to 5MB. This change will eliminate some errors users saw when attempting to set screenshots as backgrounds.

• Party chat improvements – Party chat is being improved with troubleshooting guidance for Xbox One owners. The Party App will help you get your microphone enabled and show you when privacy settings or networking issues are blocking communication with particular party members.

Dedicated servers for party chat – We are committed to continuing to make improvements to party chat, designed to improve quality, reliability, and ease of use. We’re enhancing party chat with dedicated chat relay servers. This new service will enable Xbox One owners that may have historically had NAT issues to party chat more reliably. Parties where players are unable to form direct peer-to-peer connections for party chat will automatically leverage dedicated server infrastructure to relay traffic.

• Currently, this service is only enabled for parties where one or more members are enrolled in the Xbox One Preview program. Those preview consoles enable the service for their party chat sessions, even if some of the party participants are not part of the preview program.

NEW EXPERIENCES

• Voice messages: After taking this update, you will be able to compose and playback voice messages in the messages app when snapped on Xbox One. Additionally, voice messages can be exchanged between Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.
• Dedicated servers for party chat: Beginning today, party chat in Preview has been upgraded with dedicated chat relay servers. This enables participants that may have historically had NAT issues to party chat more reliably. Parties where players are unable to form direct peer-to-peer connections for party chat will automatically leverage dedicated server infrastructure to relay traffic.
  • Please note: At this time, this service only works for parties where one or more members are enrolled in the Preview Program.
  • What’s On Changes (and rollout for Preview in Canada and UK): Changes to the What’s On twist include:
    • “Staff Picks” are now more personalized based on your recent game activity
    • New experiments with Twitter Trending TV and Game Clips for subsets of the preview audience
    • Enabled for Preview users in Canada and UK

KNOWN ISSUES

• Robotic Party Chat voices: We're aware of an issue a few users have reported with party chat voices sounding robotic. The team is working on a fix for a future update.
• Large parties may be unjoinable: Attempts to join a large party may be unsuccessful. The team is aware of and working on a fix for a future update.
• Some apps may encounter network issues: We're aware of an issue affecting a small number of apps (such as Overdog) where users may be unable to connect to the app service. The team is engaged and working on a fix for a future update.
