GAME Verkaufszahlen aus aller Welt

Da fehlen noch ~35 Millionen Einheiten.

Ich würde es ja fast verneinen wollen. Aber wenn die PS3 noch bis 2013 läuft und dann noch ein, zwei Jahre guter Support kommen...

Nee, ich glaub's ehrlich gesagt nicht wirklich.

Wenn man sich überlegt das selbst die PS2 noch gekauft wird (letztes GJ 4,1 Millionen und davor noch 6,4), ist das schon ein guter Ansatzpunkt dafür das Sony die PS3, nach PS4 Launch, nicht so schnell beerdigen wird wie andere Firmen ihre Vorgängerkonsolen.
Dank WiiU und PSV haben zudem auch die Third-Partys zwei Plattformen die ungefähr gleich stark sind, wodurch man durch eine Entwicklung quasi drei Plattformen abdecken kann (hier und da Abstriche etc.).
Und Sony selbst wie wohl ähnlich verfahren wie bei der PS2 und der PSP (PSP Titel erschienen auch für die PS2).

Da geht noch was!

Besonders wenn die Kosten noch mals gedrückt werden können und die PS3 dann für 150 € angeboten werden kann und man noch Gewinn pro Konsole macht.
Und nun lass mal ein gutes PlayTV kommen, ein niedriger Stromverbrauch und die weiteren Dienste verbessert oder neue hinzugefügt und dann ist sie auch Multimediagerät geeignet.
Mehr noch als die 360.
 
Ich hätte auch deutlich mehr erhofft. Ein Skyrim kauft jeder Hinz & Kunz, und hier dann wieder nur ein Bruchteil davon. Hat man auch hier im Forum gesehen. Ne Hand voll Leute hats gespielt und das wars. Wenn man sich jetzt dagegen z.B. den Dragons Dogma Thread anschaut... Dabei hätten sie deutlich mehr verdient.
 
Ich finde für einen guten, aber verspäteten Port ist das doch richtig gut, auch erschien es ja nur auf der XBOX360 und nicht auf der PS3. Ich hätte nicht so viel erwartet, fand aber schon damals hier im Forum überraschend das so viele zugeschlagen haben.
 
Skylanders soars as the world's top game franchise


Activision has stated that Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure is the No.1 best selling console and handheld game this year.

The hit kids franchise launched last November and lets players 'bring their toys to life' by placing Skylanders figures on a special portal.

The result has been phenomenal, and according to Activision, NPD, GfK and Chart-Track, the game made more money than any other game for the first five months of the year. The data combines the sales of all the console and handheld SKUs with the accessories.

“This achievement is incredibly gratifying, and quite an honour for everyone at Activision and our team at Toys for Bob,” said Acitivison CEO Eric Hirshberg.

“It was a simple idea really—bridging the gap between real and virtual play—but one that required tremendous creativity to execute and communicate to our audience. It spawned a new category and a new platform for play in an overwhelmingly challenging marketplace. We couldn’t be happier that there is an ever-growing universe of Portal Masters out there.”

The next game in the franchise, Skylanders Giants, is set for a Q4 launch.
