The site then asked Guillemot if it will be a next-gen title, to which he replied, “there’s a good chance it can be.”

DAS wäre ein wirklich schöner Launchtitel für die Next Gen. Ich habe gestern Abend noch drüber nach gedacht dass mmn kein Titel so eine Wucht der Projektile auf die Gegner rüber gebracht hat wie Vegas I+II. Super gut.
 
Boah , ich will unbedingt eine neues und Ubisoft macht was es am besten kann : Game produzieren / Game wieder einstampfen / Neues Team suchen / Wieder von vorne. Und das geht echt über Jaaaaahre bis da mal was neues kommt. Siehe SC Conviction.
 
Today, a source confirmed that one of the unannounced titles Ubisoft Toronto is working on is "Rainbow Six: Patriots," and that the team is aiming for release on next generation hardware and consoles.

Geil, vllt sehen wir einen Trailer im Bierzelt :ruby:
 
das wird doch eh nix :( 10 millionen einblendungen, features wie durch wände und autos schauen und eine unterstützung von kinect und move würde mich bei ubisoft auch nicht mehr wundern :heul:
 
Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt. Gerade Rainbow Six Vegas ist heute noch einer der besten (und brachialsten) Shooter der Current Gen.
 
Also noch mal zwei Jahre Informationssperre. Splinter Cell Conviction ick hör dir trapsen.

Vegas 2 kam 2008 raus... 5 Jahre ist es schon her.
 
Das Spiel wurde komplett umgeschmissen, neu angefangen

“We had a core team. They had a good vision. They got started, and then the game wasn’t working,” he said. “So [they had] to start again. There’s an editorial group in Ubisoft, a big group, very influential. If the game is not good enough, they say it’s not good enough. Most of the time, the team will say, ‘yeah, I know.’ But sometimes they want to continue in a direction where you say, ‘no, it’s not going to work.’

“Rainbow had to be remade. Now they’re going to have the benefit of the new consoles, if and when it comes out. It’s one of those examples where you try, it doesn’t work, you try again. If it doesn’t work, we’re not going to bring it to you.”

Wahrscheinlich haben sie versucht, das Gameplay und die Explosionen von Call of Duty in das Setting eines Taktikshooters zu verpacken. Klappt natürlich nicht. Will ja auch niemand.
