Großartig mag ein etwas weitgefasster Begriff sein, aber im Grunde hoffe ich schon auf diverse SP-Modi. SF Alpha 3 auf der PSP hat ja gezeigt, wie man tonnenweise Modi in so ein Spiel packen kann. Letztendlich wird's der Arcade-Modus auch tun. Aber es wäre schon schick, wenn da noch mehr wäre. Ich fände es auch toll, wenn eine Move-Liste IM Spiel wäre und ich nicht wieder mit Internet-Ausdrucken auf dem Schoß vorm TV hocke.
Immerhin scheint ja - gemäß den Kommentaren in den Videos einiges freischaltbar zu sein.

Ich erinnere mich noch an Zeiten, da besaß ein Beatem Up ein fettes Handbuch, mit Charakterbeschreibungen und Moveliste.

Waren das noch Zeiten!

Also bei Guilty Gear X2 Reloaded war das noch dabei. Ich erinnere mich nur, dass ich bei der SF Alpha Anthology keine Movelist im Handbuch hatte. Gab auch keine im Spiel. Das war echter Sackgang.

Bin ich auch am überlegen.
Fest steht nur: Mit dem Standard-Pad werd ich SFIV nicht mal mit der Kneifzange anfassen.
Der Stick ist aber doch recht teuer, wenn das Digikreuz beim SF-Pad gut ist (was ich doch bei einem Spezial-Beat em Up-Pad stark hoffe) dann wird meine Wahl wahrscheinlich darauf fallen.
Aber da muss man mal Erfahrungsberichte abwarten

Mad Catz six button gamepad: the ultimate d-pad has arrived

We spent our fair share of time with the Mad Catz Street Fighter IV arcade sticks at the Capcom booth earlier this week. However, we had the chance to drop by the Mad Catz private suite to get a more detailed look at the company's controllers and we took it. While the sticks themselves are highly desirable, we had quite a few requests for a more in-depth report on the actual joypads.



Alongside the release of the sticks, Mad Catz is releasing a branded collection of joypads. These pads aspire to the old Sega Saturn or Sega Genesis style of pad that, as many of you will recall, boasted arguably the best layout and the best d-pad of any console controllers ever. Mad Catz is well aware of how beloved the original design was, but the company didn't stop at making a simple carbon copy.

Mad Catz' new joypads stand out right away thanks to the incredible floating, eight-way d-pad. There's probably no better testimony to how well the pad responds than to say that I was able to pull off four consecutive spinning pile drivers with Zangeif with no issue before finally missing the fifth one. (For those who don't know, the move requires a full circle of the d-pad which is often quite tricky with a normal d-pad.)

The other neat feature about the sticks is that there is a switch that lets users configure the d-pad when using the controller for other games. A small switch on the back allows the controller to be defined as the left analog stick, right analog stick, or d-pad. This means that with a flick of the switch, the joypad—which has no analog sticks on it—can stand in for other controls in specific games.



As an added bonus, the controllers also include two-step turbo options for any and all buttons on the controller—though hardcore fighting fans will likely stay away from this feature. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions also differ in that the PS3 joypad is wireless whereas the Xbox 360 one is not.

Mad Catz may really be pushing these joypads as a complementary product to Street Fighter, but the pads are most exciting because they are the long-awaited answer for a good d-pad solution on the current-generation consoles. Watch out for the pads in mid-February when they hit retail for $39.99.

Das ist genau das, was ich hören wollte, dann werd ich mir wohl das Pad kaufen.

Der Kerl wird zwar auch genug Skill haben, aber sowas dürfte wirklich nur mit nem super Pad möglich sein.

Ich werde mal einen Erfahrungsbericht zum Pad posten wenn meins angekommen ist!

Das Joyboard kommt für mich garnicht in die Tüte, auch wenns bestimmt toll ist. Der Preis ist bei mir nicht unbedingt das ausschlaggebende, es ist eher die Steuerung selbst, in der Spielhalle kam ich da nie richtig zurecht, jedenfalls nicht so gut wie mit einem alten Sega-6 Putton Pad oder SNES-Pad.

Hab den Tournament Stick bei der Grotte bestellt, wenns mir kein Spaß macht, werd ich das Teil sicher mit kaum Verlust wieder los...

Oder was meint ihr?

Wenn Du es bei Ebay schön reinstellst bekommst Du bestimmt nahezu das gleiche an Geld was Du aufgewendet hast.

Der Hammer, der Tournament-Stick ist ein wirklich freakiges Stück Hardware. Man kann sämtliche Bauteile austschauschen und den Stick an den Wohnzimmertisch schrauben

Dumme gibt's halt immer. Ich würde für ein Pad maximal 50% des Originalpreises bezahlen. Wer weiß, was das alles mitgemacht hat. Gerade an so einem Stick kann man schön rumreißen etc. Kann mir dann keiner erzählen, dass das Ding scheckheftgepflegt ist und nur sonntags zum Spielen benutzt wurde.

Also ich könnt mir vorstellen das der TE Stick zu einem raren Sammlerobjekt werden könnte, wo zumindest der Preis stabil bleiben wird. Die meisten Leute die sich solch einen Stick kaufen pflegen ihn auch dementsprechend, ist ja kein Artikel den man sich mal eben so ohne Grund kauft.

Ich freu mich jedenfalls schon drauf, ist sicherlich ein geiles Gefühl den allein schon auszupacken.

Da habe ich auch Bange vor, und ehrlich gesagt weiss ich nicht was ich machen soll. Ich habe derzeit einen bei Gamestop in den Staaten bestellt, wo ich 100pro einen bekommen werde, und einen bei der Grotte. Bei letzterer kann man sich aber nie sicher sein auch das zu bekommen, was man vorbestellt hat. Bei ihm würde aber kein Zoll anfallen und eigentlich sollte man den dort schneller haben als von Gamestop aus.

Ich hoffe Amazon UK wird den bald ins Programm aufnehmen, denn dort soll er auch verkauft werden. Wenn nicht lass ich alle zu mir liefern und verkauf die, die ich nicht brauche wieder

Ich könnt übrigens kotzen, dass so Zubehör (das ja angesichts des Rotz-D-Pads aufm Standard-COntroller extrem wichtig für so ein SPiel ist) nicht in Deutschland veröffentlicht wird...

Beide Sticks und die Pads sind ja bei der Grotte schon gelistet. Zumindest den normalen Stick und sicherlich die Pads wird man hier "ganz normal" kaufen können. Beim TE Stick bin ich mir nicht sicher. Es sollen erstmal 3000 Stück hergestellt worden sein, hat aber niemand gesagt ob 3000 insges. oder nur USA.

Grade nochmal die SFTHDR Demo probiert mit dem Dpad vom original Controller. Es geht einfach nicht.

Also das Pad muss her. Dann PS3 wegen wireless.
Oder es überkommt mich und ich bestell den Stick. Den aber für die 360 weil man zusätzlich ein Board f.d. PS3 dazubauen kann. Wenn mich die Finanzministerin nicht vorher meuchelt.

@Freezi - so sicher ist Gamestop in den USA auch net - das kann ich dir sagen...

die bei neogaf bestellen da auch alle - und einige haben auch angst nix mehr zu bekommen...

Das is mir schon klar, dass ich das Zeug bei der Grotte bekomm
Wäre halt nicht das erste Mal, dass man solche Import-Nischenware für ein paar Monate bekommt und danach nicht mehr...
Zudem gehts mir da einfach ums Prinzip, ich verstehs halt nicht, dass man da Deutschland immer ausklammern muss...
