Skulls of the Shogun is a snappy arcade strategy game set in feudal Japan. I'd say the best way to describe it is by a set of features which differentiate it from similar titles, rather than typing up the instruction manual:
- units can be moved freely within a set radius, no grid
- you have a limited number of commands per turn to keep the game moving quickly
- resources to make new units are limited to keep games short
- units can eat the skulls of the defeated to gain HP
- if the same unit eats three skulls he becomes a badass demon
- special characters which join the side that summons them
