New Anti-Cheat Tech

As part of our ongoing efforts to combat cheating, we’ve developed a new anti-cheat system in-house at PUBG Corp. which we're now bringing to live servers, after an extensive period on our test servers. This system is being used in addition to our existing anti-cheat solutions.

Expect to see a new popup when you start the client. To help us refine our anti-cheat service it would be helpful for us if you play with the "Enable Anti-cheat" box checked, if you experience issues you can disable this.

We've fixed previous compatibility issues experienced by some players, although we've kept the option to disable the new anti-cheat system while we go through the final stages of testing in the live server environment. Once testing is complete, you will be unable to disable this system.

FIX PUBG Update

QoL
  • WHEEL MENUS: Added UI that allows players to access a quick-select wheel (similar UI with the Emote system) for the quick selection of items without opening the inventory or pressing individual hotkeys.
  • MINIMAP: Players can now further magnify the minimap.
  • PLAYER ORDER CONSISTENCY: Player order between the lobby and in-game is now consistent so that players will have fixed numbers and colors based on lobby order when they enter a game.
  • FRIEND UI: Friend UI has been improved to show logged out / disconnected teammates.

Bug Fixes
  • CHARACTER MOVEMENT #01: Fixed the issue where players could sometimes climb stairs much faster while moving diagonally next to the wall.
  • DBNO PLAYER WALL PENETRATION: Fixed the issue where sometimes a downed players' character model would penetrate walls.
  • SLIDING FIX #01: Fixed the issue where characters would look like they were sliding while standing up if they took out a weapon and stood up at the same time.
  • SLIDING FIX #02: Fixed the issue where a player appeared to slide when standing up or moving while going prone before landing from a certain height.
  • STUN AND ONFIRE ANIMATION: Fixed the issue where Flashbang and Molotov stun and on fire animations could be cancelled when repeatedly crouching/standing up/prone/or equipping a weapon.
  • ARMED ANIMATION: Fixed the issue where characters occasionally appeared to be unarmed when they were actually armed.
  • PLAYER UI: Fixed an issue where the player UI would sometimes disappear in the observer's view.
  • ADS BUG #02: Fixed the issue where ADS worked unreliably when ADSing right after equipping a weapon.
  • VEHICLE INTERACTION: Fixed the issue where a player sometimes received collision damage from a motorcycle when another player picked up the motorcycle.
  • CHARACTER POSITION #03: Fixed an issue where a character sometimes rotated even though its feet were fixed when the screen was rotated more than 180 degrees left or right.
  • CHARACTER MOTION #01: Fixed the issue where a player was sometimes shown as scoping when taking steps next to a wall.
  • VAULTING: Fixed the issue where characters could vault over other characters when positioned at certain heights.
  • CHARACTER MOTION #02: Fixed the issue where a player would sometimes clip through the floor of a building when disembarking a motorcycle.
  • REPORT SPAMMING: Fixed the issue where a player could be reported multiple times by playing the replay over and over.
  • LOBBY HP BAR DISPLAY: Fixed the issue where a character's HP bar was sometimes shown in the lobby after exiting the server replay.
  • POPPING #01: Fixed the issue where a character's animation popped upward when getting close to the wheels of a buggy.
  • POPPING #02: Fixed the issue of where a character's animation popped upward when crouching and standing up near a vehicle.

Rank System, Leaderboard, Region Renewal
  • Server/region will now be decided automatically depending on the player’s local region
    • If you group with a player from another region, matchmaking will automatically decide the best region to play on
  • Implemented Rank System
    • There are 8 total ranks
    • Rank will be assigned based on Rank Points earned
    • To earn your first rank, you will need to play 10 provisional matches
    • Rank promotion / demotion will be decided by total rank points as indicated in the chart above


  • Statistics Page Renewal
    • Improved the UI of the Career and Leaderboard screens
    • Career
      • Improved UI to show rank, KDA, Avg. damage, etc. more clearly.
    • Leaderboard

      • Will display up to 100 ranks

Map Selection
  • Map selection is back once again, allowing you to select which maps you want to play on
    • You can select Quick Join or select a map individually
    • Quick Join function puts you in the first available game, regardless of map

Skin Trade Up System
  • We’ve added a Skin Trade Up system where you can trade in items for those of a higher tier
    • You can trade up multiple same-tier items and BP into one next-tier skin item
    • Trade up requires ten items, and the maximum tier you can get is up to rare(blue) while the system is in testing. We’ll look to open up the system further once we’re satisfied with the balance of the system but please note that any BP costs associated with this system may change.
    • The required BP amount is different depending on the tier of items being traded up. You will not be able to initiate the trade without all required items

UI/UX
  • Added a wheel menu for quick access to healing and throwable items
    • These are the default keybindings to use each function
      • G / F1: Throwables
      • ~ / F2: Heal/booster items
      • F4: Emote
    • Emote activation hotkey was changed from ` to F4
    • You can cancel the wheel by clicking the right mouse button
  • Added an option to hide the nicknames of players in the killfeed who downed/killed you or your teammates

  • Added alert icons to the network statistics function
    • Three new icons represent High latency, Latency variation, Packet loss
      • High latency: Alerts you if your ping/latency is getting too high
      • Latency variation: Alerts you if your latency variation changes are too high
      • Packet loss: Alerts you if your ratio of packet loss is too high
    • Added an icon to check teammate’s log out / disconnected status
    • Player order between the lobby and in-game is now consistent so that players will have fixed numbers and colors based on lobby order when they enter a game.
    • Added an option to manage the maximum ratio of minimap zooming
    • Added auto-reload option
      • When enabled, you will reload weapons automatically when you try to fire while your magazine is empty
      • By default, this is set to “Off” but can be changed in the Gameplay menu
    • Changed the official name of ping system to “Quick Marker”
    • Increased the display time of quick marker from 5 to 10 seconds

Performance
  • Improved the client performance by optimizing the creation of character materials

Replay
  • Replay version has been updated, replays from previous updates are no longer playable.

  • Added new “FALL 2018 CRATE”
    • This crate can be purchased with BP
    • Will be separate from the Weekly Random Crate
    • No key is required to open this crate.

  • Fixed an issue where walk button cannot be used when sprinting after changing sprint key to toggle
  • Fixed an issue where player can stand up from a prone position faster than usual in certain conditions.

Und Skill Ränge sind immer geil. Ohne Ranking hätte ich längst aufgehört mit Rocket League oder CS:GO.

Die erste Season jetzt soll ca. 2 Monate laufen zum testen. In dem Video sieht man auch das es Belohnungen geben soll für den höchsten Rang den man erreicht(wie bei Rocket League) :)

Geht gar nicht um die Engine, sondern darum, dass alles unglaublich „clunky“ ist und ein Polish vermissen lässt. Besonders unter Berücksichtigung davon, wie unglaublich viel Asche die mit dem Titel erwirtschaftet haben...

Xbox One X soll Performance Mode bekommen!
You may remember from a previous community post that we are working on a long term performance solution for the Xbox One X that will cater to two different audiences: those who prefer better graphics and those who prefer better performance and don’t mind sacrificing some graphical quality.

We are currently targeting November for implementing this on the Xbox One X. We hope to have more details to share on this next month.

Lobby Patch Notes
  • Added Patch Notes to the lobby. They can be viewed in a popup by clicking the Patch Notes icon in the top right.
  • Videos included in the patch notes cannot be played directly in the client.
    • When clicking on a video, an external browser will open to play the video.

Gameplay
  • Decreased recoil of the P18C.
  • We’ve toned down the opacity of the blue zone so that it less difficult to see through .
    • Thanks to all of our players for the feedback you provided regarding this. Please share your feedback with us once you’ve tested the changes.
  • Mitigated an issue where the blue zone’s opacity difference was too strong depending on the map and weather type.
  • * We’ve improved the Page Up/Page Down reticle changing functionality of red dot sight, holographic sight and 2x/3x scopes.
    • * Selections are now on a loop, so players can press one button to cycle through the options.
  • * We’ve improved the control of wheel menu, making it easier for players to select items.
  • * TPP character hit animations are now seen by the player being hit.
    • * When in third-person and shot by an enemy, you will now see your character react to being shot. Previously, these animations would only be seen by other players.
    • * These animations are purely visual and do not change gameplay. When aiming down the sight, targeting an enemy, or in FPP mode, these animations won’t impact your aiming placement or view.

UI/UX
  • Added an on-screen dynamic key map guide which changes based on the gameplay situation.
    • Appears above the minimap.
    • Set to “On” by default, but can be switched off in Settings > Gameplay.
  • We’ve improved the control of wheel menu, making it easier for players to select items.
  • We’ve improved the Page Up/Page Down reticle changing functionality of red dot sight, holographic sight and 2x/3x scopes.
    • Selections are now on a loop, so players can press one button to cycle through the options.
  • The name of the player being watched while spectating teammates, in observer view, or killer spectating will now appear in the top left corner of the screen.

World
  • Made fixes and improvements to Training Mode
    • Optimized moving targets. Basic function is same as before but the appearance is slightly changed.
    • Limited the maximum spawns of water vehicles (boat, aqua rail) to 2
      • This is a temporary solution due to a performance issue, we will implement additional improvements in the future.
    • Reduced visual flickering of thin objects such as electrical wires.

Performance
  • Improved performance by mitigating an issue causing thin objects to flicker.
  • Optimized particles in rainy weather.
  • *Improved server performance by adjusting the algorithm to determine how often the client synchronizes other character's position with the server, depending on how far away that character is from the player's own position.

Supply System
  • Survival XP can now be earned while observing teammates.
    • This grants 50% less XP than while alive

Anti-Cheat / Report
  • Added the report player function to event mode games.
  • By pressing “R” key when spectating, you can report a player who previously killed you.
    • Players can report other players during a match by clicking the “Report” button on the death screen.
    • Up to 8 recent players who killed you will be displayed as available to report.
    • When reporting a teammate who killed you, the option to report for team killing will be displayed.
    • You can only report a player once per match.

Skin & Items
  • Added multi-slot items as a new category.
    • These are single piece clothing items that require multiple slots to wear (Torso and Legs, for example).
    • If you try to wear a multi-slot item while wearing a single slot item in one of those slots, those items will be removed automatically.
  • Changed the reset time of the weekly random crate to Tuesday 5pm PDT (UTC 0).
  • * Improved Store UI
    • Featured Page
      • If multiple pages exist, item pages will cycle through every 5 seconds to display all items. You may also manually move to the next featured item page by clicking the button at the bottom.
    • * Learn More Page
      • If you click the item picture, you will see a full preview of the item on your character.
      • If you click the item price, you will be taken to the purchase page.

Custom Match
  • Added a new game mode, War Mode: Conquest
    • This game mode sets two Platoons (up to 50 vs. 50) against each other to capture and hold objectives within an area. Your Platoon earns points as you hold these objectives and the team with the highest score wins.
    • Multiple options, including capture area circle size can be adjusted in the match options.
    • Added a few War Mode: Conquest related presets.
    • A detailed guide for recommended custom match settings for this mode will be announced in a separate article at a later date.
    • Replays are not yet available for War Mode: Conquest matches. This functionality will be added in a future update.
  • Added the option to invite friends to a custom game
  • Added an option to adjust damage ratios (from 0 to 500%) in custom game settings.
    • You can adjust the head, upper body, lower body, arm, or leg damage ratio from bullets and melee attacks.
    • You can also adjust the damage ratio from throwables.
  • Corrected issue with default configuration settings for killer spectating and red zone in Esports Mode.
  • Added “Camp Jackal” (Training Mode Map) as an available map for War Mode matches.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the issue where players could use weapons while swimming if they kept pushing the weapon equip button near rocks.
  • Fixed some exploitable spots which allowed players to enter inside cliff faces.
  • Fixed the issue where in FPP when character holding throwables or ready to throw throwables is moving facing the sky, his/her hand flickers and moves around.
  • Fixed an issue which caused the screen to shake excessively when spectating or viewing the death cam of an opponent who was firing a weapon.
  • Fixed the issue where when freefalling out of the plane and pressing particular movement keys, certain animations didn’t play correctly.
  • Fixed the issue where the footstep sounds of players moving at low speed (walking when crouching) was not played to other players.
  • Fixed the issue where when click the “Play” button, game was frozen in the lobby.
  • Fixed the issue where world map and wheel menu could be opened at the same time.
  • Fixed the issue where a spot at the back of the truck and buggy would block bullets.
  • Fixed the issue where when plane flew around you, the sound of plane was not played.
  • Fixed an issue which caused waves to not be heard momentarily after unmuting the game sounds.
  • * Fixed an issue where when shooting flare gun, the shooting sound was not played correctly.
  • * Fixed an issue where when after closing the inventory while holding ‘Alt’ then holding ‘Alt’ when re-opening the inventory, players were not able to drag items
  • * Fixed an issue which could cause an additional player to be shown on the vehicle UI when spectating as an observer.
  • * Fixed an issue which caused the capturing UI in War Mode: Conquest to not display properly on the minimap
  • * Fixed an issue where the player number displayed in solo mode was incorrect while observing
  • * Fixed an issue where player couldn’t get supply system XP after a match
  • * Fixed a rare bug where teammates would receive friendly-fire damage, even if you weren’t aiming at them while shooting

Frightfully fun Halloween costumes are coming to PUBG!

Training Mode
  • Added a Training Mode where you can practice all aspects of PUBG gameplay
  • The Training Mode map is 2x2 in size
  • You can join through matchmaking by clicking on the “Training Mode” button in the lobby.
    • When there are more than 5 players in the matchmaking queue, the session will start immediately. Players will continue to join open sessions for up to 5 minutes after they start. (Up to 20 per session)
    • If there are less than 5 players in the matchmaking queue, matchmaking will continue for 5 minutes
      • If there are still less than 5 players after 5 minutes, the session will start with the original number of players present and other players cannot join the session.
    • Total play time is 30 minutes (e.g. in case of number 1, where you immediately enter a session, you have 5 minutes where other players can join the session + regular training mode playing time of 25 minutes)
    • Players cannot drop below 1hp in Training mode

New Weapon: Beryl M762
  • Added the Beryl M762, which is a new versatile Assault Rifle which spawns on Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.
  • Beryl M762 uses 7.62mm ammunition and can load up to 30 rounds (40 with an extended magazine)
  • The Beryl has upper and lower rails, allowing for scopes and a grip.

New Weapon: MK47 Mutant
  • Added a new AR weapon: the MK47 Mutant
  • MK47 Mutant can be acquired on all maps (Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok) through world spawn
  • MK47 Mutant is an AR weapon using 7.62mm bullets and has a 20 round capacity, which can be upgraded to 30 rounds with an extended magazine.
  • The Mutant has 2 firing modes: single shot and 2-round burst
  • Almost all types of attachments can be used with the MK47, but it has no stock slot

New Sanhok-Exclusive Vehicle: Scooter
  • Added a new two-seat vehicle, the Scooter, which is exclusive to Sanhok
    • Both the scooter and 2-seater motorbike can be found on Sanhok
  • Compared to the current motorbike, the Scooter has lower speed and an increased turning circle, but the same HP.

New Sanhok Exclusive Vehicle: Tukshai
  • Added a new vehicle that will be exclusive to the Sanhok map
  • The Tukshai is a 3 person vehicle that substitutes the UAZ, Dacia and Minibus
  • The Tukshai is slower compared to the previous vehicles, but fits perfectly with Sahnok’s environment

Restructuring of the BP System

Previously, we offered BP rewards based only on your ranking. Now, we’ve restructured the system to take into account both play time and ranking.
Rewards have been restructured to equalize the differences in BP efficiency based on playing time for each Map and Mode.

We’ve changed team rewards to be shared:
  • You will no longer receive 4 times the BP because you were playing alone in a squad game

Gameplay
  • Bluezone effect has been changed
  • Added ‘TPP Aim Camera Position’ to options
    • Reset to Right Shoulder (default setting)
      • Camera will always be positioned above the character’s right shoulder
    • Reset to Left Shoulder
      • Camera will always be positioned above the character’s left shoulder
    • Latest Peek Shoulder
      • Camera position automatically moves to the direction you last leaned
    • Latest Aim Shoulder
      • Camera remains in the last ADS direction
      • In this setting, the camera position won’t be changed by leaning while not in ADS or scoping
  • Added a new attachment: the Laser Sight
    • Bullet spread is reduced when hip firing and soft-aiming
    • The Laser Sight fits on weapons with a lower rail slot available, taking up the grip slot.
  • Added the improved Marker/Ping System first introduced for testing on the 8/1 test server update
    • Using (R) button, you can create a marker where you are aiming on the compass at the top of the screen (not visible in the world)
  • All team members can see this marker on the compass
  • After setting the marker, there is a 2 second cooldown before you can mark again
  • The marker on the compass will automatically disappear after 5 seconds
  • When the ping markers overlap, the closest located marker will be shown on top.
  • Increased maximum sensitivity (10 → 20)

UI/UX
  • Added a key guide to the loading screen tips
  • Improved the design of the map markers
    • This is thanks to feedback that some players were confusing the previous marker design with the player icon

Reporting
  • You can now report a player for Teaming, Gameplay interference, Verbal abuse.
    • This can be done after the match is over

Performance
  • Optimized weather effects to increase framerate - especially during rain
  • Optimized cloud effects during free falling to increase framerate
  • Improved performance by adjusting on-hit effects for various materials
  • Improved server and client performance by optimizing the inner composition of the plane
  • Increased the quality of optimization to reduce desync.

Bug Fixes
  • Lost Connection to Host
    • We are testing out some potential fixes related to the "Lost Connection to Host" error, and in this update we rolled out a fix for an issue with data loading with skins that was causing this bug. Please leave us your feedback and reports if you continue to experience this bug. Thank you for your patience as we actively work to fix this issue.
  • Fixed an issue where tooltips for the stun grenade did not accurately reflect its in-game effects
  • Fixed an issue where characters were seen moving fast while prone when moving on slopes a certain way
  • Fixed an issue where item mesh is sometimes difficult to distinguish from the floor in the police station in El Azahar in Miramar
  • Fixed an issue where a dead player's loot box is sometimes buried in certain locations in Miramar
  • Fixed an issue where characters can sometimes get stuck between the wall and vehicle while leaving the passenger seat when the vehicle is touching a wall
  • Fixed an issue where in some situations in FPP, players could see through walls

Was ist den eigentlich dieses GameDVR in den Optionen? Zeichnet das im Hintergrund mein Match auf um es dann ggf. auf YT hochzuladen?

Man möge mir meine Frage verzeihen, komme ja eigentlich aus der PS4 Ecke und hab die Box nur wegen PUBG und Forza Horizon!

Ich bin bis zum Ende der Zeit im Trainingsmodus geblieben um diverse Waffen auszuprobieren! Danach wechselte er ins Menü, dann kam der Erfolg! :D

EDIT:

Gilt das mit GameDVR umgekehrt auch? Also 30sek Aufzeichen wenn ich jemanden töte?
