Critic Reviews

Attack of the Fanboy - Dean James - 4 / 5 stars
Now built for consoles rather than exclusively as a handheld title, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy still maintains the same charm and gameplay the series has always been known for over the years while looking cleaner than ever.

Cultured Vultures - Léon Othenin-Girard - 9.5 / 10
The Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a polished version of an already almost perfect trilogy filled with more quirky characters and complex murder plots than you can fit in a courtroom.

DualShockers - Max Roberts - 8 / 10
Capcom's classic courtroom drama is still engaging and fun 18 years later.

Game Revolution - Tyler Treese - 4.5 / 5 stars
Despite a few quibbles that most new players won’t even notice, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is an impressive remastering of three of the greatest adventure games ever made.

Can the Phoenix be resurrected?

Gameblog - Thomas Pillon - French - 8 / 10
20 years after its first release, the Ace Attorney series reminds us how strong and unpredictable Shu Takumi's writing feels. With those linked three episodes, there is no reason not to enter the courtroom once again, even though Capcom could frankly have worked on some tiny options and bonuses to please the fans of old Nick.

GamingTrend - Travis Northup - 95 / 100
The transition from portable devices to consoles hasn't hurt the quality of the Ace Attorney Trilogy, which remain some of my favorite games of all time. Phoenix Wright and company are deserving of the big screen, and this game is well worth your time if you haven't gotten around to playing it elsewhere.

God is a Geek - Nick Gillham - 7.5 / 10
If the audience is there, then these home console versions of Ace Attorney are very welcome as I have no objection to more Phoenix Wright.

Hardcore Gamer - Kirstin Swalley - 4.5 / 5
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a classic through and through.

Hobby Consolas - Álvaro Alonso - Spanish - 80 / 100
Three games that are as fresh and clever as the first time they released on the GBA. Theres barely any improvement, and we lament the absence of a spanish translation, but it is difficult to make an "objection" giving the three games are finally releasing on every platform.

IGN Italy - Marco Esposto - Italian - 8.5 / 10
The original three Phoenix Wright finally in HD, with a good remaster ready to be play for both old and new gamers.

Metro GameCentral - 7 / 10
The sheer age of the games are beginning to count against them but Ace Attorney still remains exhibit A in how to make even the silliest story-based games fun and engaging.

Nintendo Life - Dom Reseigh-Lincoln - 8 / 10
The original Ace Attorney is – dare we say it – almost 20 years old, which is remarkable when you consider just how well it holds up 2019. Sure, it's been ported plenty of times and the jump to Nintendo DS certainly helped shake off the retro cobwebs, but as a piece of interactive history, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is as utterly addictive and truly rewarding as it was back at the turn of the millennium. Whether you're brand new to the world of virtual defence law or a veteran attorney, Phoenix Wright's first adventures are still a fine set of cases to undertake.

NintendoWorldReport - Matthew Zawodniak - 9 / 10
undefined.Ace Attorney remains one of my favorite franchises of all time, and I have loved the opportunity to play through the trilogy again on Switch. Though it lags a little in the middle with some less-than-stellar cases in the second game, the Ace Attorney Trilogy is still an incredible story with wonderful characters, memorable plots, and satisfying mysteries to solve. With little more than a new coat of paint, the Trilogy collection manages to be the perfect way to experience the story of Phoenix Wright whether you're a rookie lawyer or a great ace attorney.

PlayStation Universe - John-Paul Jones - 8.5 / 10
A confident revamp of Phoenix Wright's earliest legal adventures, the Ace Attorney Trilogy is a cleverly constructed hybrid of logical conundrums and visual novel beats that combine to make one of the most accessible and gleefully silly puzzlers the PS4 has seen in quite sometime.

Push Square - John Cal McCormick - 8 / 10
Phoenix Wright has finally made his debut on a PlayStation console in the form of the Ace Attorney Trilogy, and you'll have absolutely no objections from us. This collection of three brilliant games is well worth the attention of adventure game fans, visual novel aficionados, or budding lawyers. The mind-bending, labyrinthine murder plots are far-fetched but engaging, the writing is consistently pithy and amusing, and the characters you'll meet are charming and unique. It's an open and shut case – Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy rocks.

Saudi Gamer - عصام الشهوان - Arabic - 4.5 / 5
A classic that hasn't had its brilliance diminished by time, brimming with colorful characters and memorable moments, and a presentation that is still visually and aurally attractive.

The Digital Fix - Eden Penketh - 8 / 10
Over a decade after their first releases, the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy collates and returns the courtroom sleuth to the limelight in style. As funny and gripping as it ever was, fans of crime dramas as well as language and logic puzzles are going to love Wright's redux.

The Games Machine - Stefano Calzati - Italian - 8 / 10
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is an excellent opportunity to rediscover a classic of modern text adventures.

TheSixthAxis - Stefan L - 7 / 10
Full of quirky characters and the convoluted cases to solve, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is still a great visual novel adventure, and it's been thoroughly spruced up for modern consoles. It's not the most adventurous of remasters, but there's a real charm to these games that's great for newcomers as well as fans revisiting the series.

USgamer - Hirun Cryer - 3.5 / 5 stars
There's no denying that breaking down an arrogant witness, and ultimately winning a case in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney feel fantastic. Fitting in the right pieces of evidence to find contradictions is extremely satisfying, I just wish there was more depth, and a little more nuance, to both the witnesses you're breaking down, and the game at large.

Wccftech - Nathan Birch - 8.5 / 10
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a satisfying collection of mysteries, many of which are still as sharp as when they were first published. Sure, certain aspects of these games feel a touch dated compared to some of the newer, edgier visual novels out there, but few can top Phoenix and friends when it comes to charm. This HD update is a bit barebones, but, overall, these classics are well-represented.

Windows Central - Asher Madan - 5 / 5 stars
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy can't stand up to the likes of major "AAA" blockbusters, but it offers tremendous enjoyment and satisfaction. If you haven't played these games before, now's the time to pick them up.

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotel_Dusk:_Room_215

und Last Window: The Secret of Cape West
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last_Window:_Das_Geheimnis_von_Cape_West
