Season's greetings!
And looking back on the craziest year of our lives
Hi
We can't believe that only just over a year ago we were travelling out to VGX, terrified that no one would care about
what we were about to announce.
Since then, every step of 2014 has been amazing. Like E3, where we showed
a new trailer on Sony's stage. We had
Time saying, "Hello Games’ upcoming No Man’s Sky may be the most promising - and gorgeous [new game]." The
BBC said, "The Hello Games team doesn’t have a stand at E3. No flashing lights, no pounding music, no booth babes. But boy, has it stolen the show."
No Man's Sky got on the
cover of Edge, and
then Game Informer, which was two dreams fulfilled.
We really recommend taking an hour or two to enjoy all of Game Informer's videos and articles about No Man's Sky -
the full list is here.
Look out for Gamespot's set of videos about the game, too,
which are archived here.
Then we went to Vegas to show
a trailer at The Game Awards, and
another at PlayStation Experience.
We also announced that we're working with
65daysofstatic, and staged A Night Under No Man's Sky, where we got to watch them perform new songs they wrote especially for our game. That was an incredible buzz. You can
catch the whole thing here. And after that, why not spend the holiday
listening to 65's amazing music?

Finally, we saw some amazing fan videos and art, like the super-funny

As 2014 comes to a close, we wanted to thank you so, so much for coming along with us on our journey.
Your excitement for what we're making has been huge for us, and done so much to make this year so special.
We wanted to let you know that we're going to go a bit quiet next year so we can focus on making the game, but also to make sure you know just how much we've valued each message of support we've received. Thank you.
Have a super happy Christmas and New Year. Here's to 2015

Hello Games
