Battlefield 3's Close Quarters DLC free during E3

If you haven't bought Battlefield 3's Close Quarters DLC by now, you're probably not that interested in it. However, if you haven't but wouldn't mind an excuse to load the old BF3 back up and shoot some more men, good news! EA has made the $15 map pack free for E3 week, so hop on and grab it now.

Close Quarters was the second BF3 add-on, bringing four new maps for infantry action plus new weapons, Conquest Domination mode and some other jazz. It also wasn't too great, but it is free.

On PC, you can grab Close Quarters by entering the code BF3E3 into the 'Redeem Code' option in the Origin client. On Xbox 360 and PS3, simply jump into the in-game store. It'll be free until June 18 or 19, depending on your region and platform, EA explains.

Oh, and everyone earn's double XP in BF3 for the next week. Happy E3, Battleers. Enjoy the news that with Battlefield 4, EA has once again got money from Microsoft for early DLC access.
