Kleines Statement zu Arsetto Corsa, welchem ich heute begegnet bin:
"AC is made in a way that if you use an H shifter + clutch you can shift as fast as your hand physically can.
If you use paddles in an otherwise H shifter car, you have a default shifting time that is usually a bit slower than doing it manually in H shifter.
So H-Shifter, fast, more risk, paddles a bit slower, safer/"Also keep in mind that damages are not yet enabled.
Right now you can grind the gears and nothing happens... things will change when we will enable damages

Damit man Wagen, die mit H-Shifter ausgestattet sind, auch wirklich mit H-Shifter fährt!

Bin durch Zufall auf ein rFactor-Video mit einer Rally-Mod gestoßen. Wow, da bekommt man ja fast beim Zuschauen schon schwitzige Hände, geiles Geschwindigkeitsgefühl. WRC 2013 sieht dagegen aus wie ne Schlaftablette. Dabei fährt er nur mit nem S2000 und keinem WRC-Auto.

Zumindest sind Wippen-Fahrer in der Regel immer in Vorteil, da sie schlichtweg nicht die Hände vom Lenkrad nehmen müssen. Die meisten Racer besitzen ja mittlerweile einen H-Shifter und so ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit auch grösser, dass im Feld wieder Waffengleichheit herrscht.

Freitags-Update bei Assetto Corsa:
Kunos Simulazioni has released new previews of all content coming up in tomorrow’s Early Access Beta update for Assetto Corsa.
As correctly speculated yesterday, the new update will bring four new cars, the new Monza track, a new showroom setting as well as add the drag racing mode and the matching drag strip to the title.
Changelog
- New Special Events Mode with medals and achievements implemented – Shared memory struct updated
- Drag Race mode implemented
- Camera on board :: resets far plane
- Replay :: fixed leaderboard app in replay mode
- Fixed triple screen change gear animations going too fast
- Improved all change gear animations
- Screen capture ( F8 ) allows to select screenshot between PNG,JPG,BMP – Time Attack checkpoints hidden in replays
- Mouse steering implemented
- Fixed Triple Screen in Track cameras (F3)
- Fixed large replay loading
- Camera Random (F2) improvements
- Fixed Tyre Tester app in replay mode

Ich kann das Spiel wirklich nur empfehlen! Mit der globalen Bestenliste und der Möglichkeit nach allen möglichen Kriterien zu selektieren macht das Hotlappen einen wahnsinnigen Spass! Dazu gut zu beherrschende Fahrzeuge und richtig, richtig brachialer Sound. Man darf mich gerne unter Realname adden (PM)!

Klar führt langfristig kein Weg an nem GamingPC vorbei.
Aber das hat noch Zeit, weil es die Vernunft gebietet.
Aber ich denke, wenn ich mich jetzt ein Jahr ruhig verhalte, werde ich das Budget für nen PC durchkriegen ohne dass mich meine Frau schief anschaut und nur kopfschüttelnd etwas von "immer nur spielen" murmelt.
Aber das hat noch Zeit, weil es die Vernunft gebietet.
