Das bezweifle ich ernsthaft, gibt's dafür ne Quelle? Ich sag nicht, dass die PS4 am Ende nicht rentabel wird, aber ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass Sony damit jetzt schon Gewinn macht.

Ne Quelle? Das kannste doch in jedem Jahresbericht nachlesen. Was man leider auch nachlesen kann ist, dass Nintendo die letzen Jahre nicht immer Gewinne eingefahren hat, sondern Millionen Verluste verzeichnen musste. Sterben werden sie davon natürlich nicht. Aber manchmal muss ich den Unsinn eben korrigieren, den ich hier lese, nimms mir net übel. Deine Nintendoliebe in allen Ehren aber manche Aussagen von dir sind einfach falsch, verkürzt oder unvollständig.
 
Das Problem bei Sonys Auslieferungszahlen ist das sie wie bei der PlayStation 2 [und Nintendo bei Wii damals] reparierte ausgetauschte Konsolen als neuverkaufte angeben, macht die Zahl nicht extrem kleiner, aber sollte imo immer bedacht werden. So oder so, diese Generation führt kein Weg an Sony vorbei, sie selbst haben vieles richtig gemacht wärend Microsoft und Nintendo vieles falsch gemacht haben. Diese Generation ist schon längst entschieden und war es eigentlich auch schon nach den beiden Events damals.
 
Interessant das die belächelte seite vgzcharts 18,2 Mio im Vorfeld angegeben hat. Also so sehr ausgedacht können die Zahlen ja dann gar nicht sein, oder?

Es kommt wohl darauf an: Wenn ein Spiel/Konsole lange auf dem Markt ist, und es viele Quellen gibt, auf der Basis man hochrechnen kann, werden die Zahlen schon genauer. Bei aber gerade neu erschienen Spielen/Hardware, wo es vielleicht nur eine Quelle gibt, oder Zahlen aus nur einer Region, ist das natürlich das reinste gewürfel.

Sony has added to its global PS4 sales info by confirming the console’s UK success in 2014.

The platform holder says GfK Chart-Track data shows that PS4 was the UK’s best-selling console in 2014 and also the best-selling machine on both Black Friday and Cyber Monday in November.

It was also the best-selling console in the final week of the year and the best-selling across November and December combined, although it has previously been claimed that Xbox One was the best-selling machine in November alone.

Japan's console market at lowest point for 24 years
2014's total physical game sales for all home console and handhelds generated 369 billion yen (£2bn). Back in 2007 that number was nearly double - 688bn yen (£3.8bn).

The 10 top-selling games in Japan last year were all for Nintendo platforms (eight of which were for 3DS, a reflection of Japan's preference for handhelds in general).

3DS was, unsurprisingly, the top-selling console in Japan last year. It shifted 3.1m units, making for a 17.8m lifetime total in the country.

PlayStation Vita was the second-best selling console. Sony shifted 1.1m units, out of a 3.4m Japanese lifetime total.

Was für ein schreckliches Sony-Land wir doch sind. Glaube ich muss auswandern. Irgendwo hin, wo die Xbox subventioniert und den Kindern bei der Einschulung vom Staat geschenkt wird. Auch, wenn das bei der One schwer werden dürfte... :D

Bin mal gespannt wann Nintendo nen wirklich neuen handelt bringt.
So wies aktuell aussieht können die den New 3ds locker noch 3 Jahre verkaufen.

Hätte von Nintendo echt gerne nen Handheld mit mehr Power.

Earlier today Sony said that PS4 has now sold 18.5m PS4s worldwide.

The most recent Xbox One count had the console pegged at 10m shipped, not sold, as of November.
