From the critically acclaimed developer, Naughty Dog, comes the first standalone adventure in the Uncharted series. Fan-favorite character, Chloe Frazer, must enlist the aid of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in order to recover a fabled ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer. Together, they’ll venture deep into the mountains of India in search of the legendary artifact. Along the way, they’ll learn to work together to unearth the mystery of the artifact, fight their way through fierce opposition, and prevent the region from falling into chaos.

Building upon the critically acclaimed gameplay and storytelling of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy features all of the hallmarks of the series, including a rich cinematic story, exotic new destinations, intricate puzzles, and action-packed set pieces.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be the first ever standalone release in history of the Uncharted series and will be our most substantial story expansion to date. It will be available as a standalone game on store shelves and for digital download. If you have already purchased the Uncharted 4 Digital Deluxe Edition or the Explorer’s Pack, you will get Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as a download at launch.

Ich hoffe sie werden die Fightszenen deutlich ausbauen. Wieso sie das in 4 nach der starken Prügel Sequenz zu Beginn dann wieder komplett in den Koffer gepackt haben, habe ich während des gesamten Spiels nicht verstanden. Da habe ich mich sogar in Uncharted 3 deutlich mehr gekloppt, und da war es sehr viel quicktime lastiger als in 4.
 
Some tidbits from the panel so far:

- takes place after UC4
-Game is set in India (different locations)
-no supernatural elements, story is grounded like UC4
-they are calling it a story expansion not DLC, it's longer than left behind but shorter than UC4
-expanding the concept of wide linear, game will have parts that are more open than UC4
- says Chloe is the best driver in the business (hint: game will have driving mechanics)
- says her fighting style and move set will be different from drakes
- story will explore who Chloe is and focus on the unlikely pairing of Nadine and Chloe

Ich fand das übrigens richtig, richtig fett. Komplett anderes Szenario, komplett andere Grundstimmung, andere Charaktere. Wie die Kamera über die Stadt schwenkt, die Bomben einschlagen und die Sirenen losheulen... geil. Auch (klingt jetzt vielleicht komisch) mein erster Gedanke nach dem Trailer an Städte wie Allepo ging. War schon ein leichter Glos im Hals.
 
Hmmm, Sam wäre jetzt auch nicht mein favorisierter Charakter gewesen, aber Chloe? Ne...

Ja warum ausgerechnet Chloe versteh ich jetzt auch nicht so richtig. Klar, es gibt sicher ne Handvoll Fans, aber so interessant war der Chara nun wirklich nicht. Und nein, Sam wäre mir auch nicht recht gewesen. Sully hätte es sich verdient :(
