The Dengeki Online Award is an award that the publication offers to games they find to be the best and their favorite for the year. For 2015, Genei Ibunroku #FE proved to be Dengeki Online's favorite game for this past year. This also doubles as Dengeki Online's review of the game. A lot of it is similar to user impressions made by members who played the game in the OT but here is some things Dengeki liked about the game.
Dengeki cited the game as a masterpiece and one of the best RPG titles in recent years.
Dengeki praises the RPG system in the game citing how the Session system is a nice evolution of the Press Turn system used in the Shin Megami Tensei games.
Contrast to some of the impressions made by our members, the publication found the coming of age story to be quite refreshing and they enjoyed following the struggles, dreams, and success stories of the characters in the entertainment business. It was a nice alternative to the overly dark motif in the MegaTen franchise.
