The Last Broadcast tells the story of Malik, a radio broadcaster carrying on his sworn mission to keep the people living in the war-torn city of Pogoren informed about everything that may be vital to them. This story-driven DLC based on a scenario from Meg Jayanth (writer of IGF-winning game 80 days), circles around a difficult theme of the price of telling the truth. Featuring new playable civilians, new city sites, and new gameplay mechanics exploring the areas of one’s morality, The Last Broadcast is the biggest expansion to date in This War of Mine universe.

We are super proud to announce that This War of Mine: Stories - Fading Embers IS OUT!

Fading Embers is the third installment in This War of Mine: Stories. It portrays the story of Anja. Living in a warzone and carrying a heavy burden, Anja wrestles with herself to answer the question of what is more important - survival of human legacy or the survival of a man.

That’s why, very soon, the game will receive a new charity DLC, Forget Celebrations. In this new story, you’ll return to war-torn Pogoren to follow the story of Katia, a seasoned war correspondent. While struggling to write a book on the brutal realities of war, a missile attack devastates her home, forcing her into an even harsher fight for survival and the recovery of her gathered material.

All studio proceeds from #ForgetCelebrations will be donated to support our charity partners
in this anniversary initiative: War Child, Amnesty International, Liberty Ukraine, and Indie Games Poland. Stay tuned to learn how you can make a difference.

Take the opportunity to revisit the besieged city of Pogoren with Katia, a seasoned war correspondent and one of the citizens you may remember from This War of Mine. The DLC opens with Katia struggling to write a book about the tragedies of people affected by conflicts. A sudden missile attack shatters Katia’s home and draws her work to a stop. Now, severely injured, she waits for a rescue party sent by her publisher. Before it arrives, you must help Katia look for her missing book materials while trying to survive in a war-torn city.
