3DS Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney

Auf der Konferenz von Level 5 angekündigte Zusammenarbeit mit Capcom, Crossover von Capcoms Ace Attorney-Serie mit Level 5`s Layton-Serie.

- We now see a crescent moon from the view of the inside of a castle. We see layton accusing some girl of being a witch in what appears to be a trial...
- OH SNAP
OBJECTION!!!
- Phoenix Wright shows up and tells layton who's boss. It appears to be a crossover title Layton vs Phoenix Wright (Though it appears they are teaming up)
- So far they've only showed anime cutscenes. But they confirmed this is a joint game by LEVEL5 and Capcom.
- It's a combination of puzzles and crime mystery for wait for it.....
- 3DS!
- Professor VS Gyakuten saiban is the title.
- Takumi Shu is in charge of writing the scenario!!
- Shu makes a joke that he's never been at one of these announcement ceremonies before so he finds it amusing the first time he ever is is in a conference for another company.

Ace Attorney designer Shu Takumi made an appearance at Level-5 Vision to announce the project alongside Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino. Takumi is heading up scenario work on the new game.

The game's story has Professor Hershel Layton and Phoenix Wright (Ryuichi Naruhodo in the Japanese version) finding themselves in a different world. They come to the medieval city of Labyrinth City, where reality and illusions are intertwined. This strange town is also home to witches, who hide in the shadows, and is a place where magic is real. It has also been home to a number of impossible occurrences of late.

The city is controlled by a villain named Story Teller. The story he writes with his pen becomes reality as the future of the world.

Layton will find himself faced with all new puzzles. As for Phoenix Wright, the person who seeks his help this time has been accused of witch craft.

The trial that takes place in this world is "Majo Saiban," or "Witch Trial."

Das wird wohl ein Pflichttitel werden. Beide Serien strahlen schließlich unheimlich viel Charme aus.

Ja würde ich auch mal vorschlagen, das kannst im nem Jap. Forum machen, denke kaum das hier jemand was mit dem anfangen kann.

Egal, hab auf Gamefront gelesen das sie das Spiel gar nicht nach Europa bringen wollen, nervt mich ja jetzt schon das wir 3 teile bei Layton hinterherhinken.

Kein wunder das die Japaner hinterherhinken wenn sie die Spiele die bei uns gut ankommen erst Jahre später releasen oder gar nicht. :nein:

Die schaffen es teilweise nicht gleichzeitg zu releasen.

Beste DS Spiel was es gibt.

Ich würde meinen Hintern darauf verwetten dass es nach Europa kommt. Dafür ist die Layton Reihe bei uns (Europa) viel zu stark.

Capcom mag sich zurückhaltend geäußert haben aber die beiden wissen sehr wohl um den Layton-Hype in Europa. Abgesehen davon würde die Ace Attorney Reihe enorm von der Zusammenarbeit profitieren, jedenfalls in Europa, wo diese Reihe noch nicht so bekannt ist.

Edit, hab mir mal den Blog mit der Aussage angesehen...

Also derzeit hinken wir nur noch ein Layton Spiel hinterher und da der nächste Teil in Japan erst für 3DS erscheint wird das bis mindestens Februar nächsten Jahres auch so bleiben.

Und ansonsten eben das, was Django gesagt hat. Das Spiel wird sowas von garantiert außerhalb Japans erscheinen, dass es nicht mehr lustig ist.

Ich würde mir ja wünschen, dass man als Phoenix den Professor im Gerichtssaal so richtig zur Schnecke macht und der sich anschließend, von tiefster Scham erfüllt, erhängt - zusammen mit seinem Lustknaben.

Allerdings mache ich mir nicht all zu große Hoffnungen :grins:
