PS5 PlayStation 5 (Pro)

The Initiative’s Perfect Dark reboot, which was being developed with assistance from Crystal Dynamics, has been canceled and The Initiative has been shut down. Although it’s now safe to assume that all Xbox games will eventually land on PS5, previous leaks had suggested that Perfect Dark’s PS5 port was in development.

Interestingly, Perfect Dark’s creative director was none other than Brian Horton, who was working on Marvel’s Wolverine at Insomniac Games before leaving a year ago.

Between the likes of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Saros, Marvel’s Wolverine, and whatever this turns out to be, it’s looking like there’s a unique and exciting end to the PS5 generation ahead.

Since both Spider-Man 2 and Rift Apart are Insomniac Games titles and Days Gone doesn’t show any sign of improvement, it’s possible that these tweaks were made by Insomniac prior to the latest PS5 system update, but they’re just being noticed now.

If you hop over to the PlayStation Store and search for “Tralalero Tralala,” you’ll discover about a dozen “games” with artwork featuring a shark wearing shoes. Type in “Tung Tung” and you’ll get a bunch of slop featuring the same image of a wooden doll man with a baseball bat. And if you look up “Bombardiro” you’ll find some AI artwork of an alligator/plane hybrid.
