Wenn MS aber wirklich zur nächsten E3 etwas in diese Richtung zeigen sollte, müssen die schon irgendwie nachziehen. Noch einmal so einen Vorsprung werden sie wohl nicht hergeben wollen, vor allem weil der ihnen in dieser Gen den dritten Platz eingebracht hat.

Ich sehe schon eine hastig zusammengeschusterte Vorstellung wie bei Move. Ich glaube, da wusste Sony auch bis 5 Minuten vor der PK nicht, dass sie was zeigen müssen... :grins:

Und der Controller kann natürlich bleiben. :deal:
 
es gibt jetzt so viele gerüchte bzgl der neuen gen, da muss einfach was dran sein. ich hoffe es jedenfalls. die neue gen muss so schnell wie möglich kommen und ich schlag dann bei den slims zu. hab ich mir jedenfalls so vorgenommen.

Als jemand der auch mit Zocken aufgewachsen ist finde ich eher COD mit seiner Dominanz bedenklich für mein Hobby.

Putzige Avatare kann ich weitestgehend ignorieren, um die Casualschiene kann ich auch einen Bogen machen wenn ich will.

Aber wenn im Corebereich Spiele verschoben werden um nicht im Fahrwasser von COD zu landen, viele Entwickler lieber COD Klone entwickeln anstatt andere Coregames, fast jedes Spiel irgendwie auf Multiplayer getrimmt wird und dabei die Kampagnen immer kürzer werden und sich überteuerte Downloads etablieren da sie wie blöd gekauft werden, empfinde ich das als grösseren Nachteil als wenn parallel zum Corebereich die Casuals mit Bewegungssteuerung bediehnt werden.

Ob das diese Reise mit Kinect und Move passiert, anstatt wie in der letzte Gen mit Singstar, Guitar Hero und Konsorten macht für mich dabei keinen nennenswerten Unterschied.
 
THQ boss Brian Farrell expects the next hardware generation - "if there are consoles" - to be less centred on raw power and more focused on accessible services and user interfaces.

Speaking at GamesBeat 2011, the exec also said he thinks Apple and Google will be in the mix competing with established platform holders Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft.

"We believe Apple is going to be there, Google is going to be there," he said, according to VentureBeat. "Our view is that the next generation of consoles, if there are consoles, are going to be less about technology and more about service orientation of the gamer."

Farrell suggested last October that the best strategic move for the industry is to extend the current hardware cycle with Move and Kinect. You look at the games coming out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 now and they look stunning," he said at the time. "Frankly, the last thing I think the industry needs now is new hardware."

Ich denke für dieses Jahr können wird die Gerüchtekücke einpacken. Die aktuelle Gen bleibt uns sicher noch wenigstens 2 Jahre erhalten und was danach kommt wird alles, nur kein Grafik-Overkill.
 
Von Sony werden wir bestimmt noch länger keine PS4 sehen. Falls sie einen Grafikzwerg mit neuer Cam (ähnlich Kinect) und verändertem Joypad auf den Markt bringen, wüsste ich nicht, warum ich das kaufen sollte. Kein Mensch würde das kaufen, der schon eine PS3 zuhause hat.

Bei Microsoft sieht die Sache anders aus. Ich bin überzeugt, die werden mit dem 360 Nachfolger eine Grafikgranate nachlegen, alles andere wäre ein Witz. Ne Konsole kostet zum Release 500-600 €, dafür darf man schon ordentlich Power erwarten.
 
The next consoles from Sony and Microsoft will not launch until three years' time, predicts GameStop.

Senior executives from the US retail giant made the claim during a series of investor meetings, according to financial research firm Baird.

A statement read: "Management does not expect new hardware consoles from Microsoft and Sony until 2014; however, a successful launch of Nintendo's Wii U in 2012 could add pressure to accelerate a hardware refresh.

"GameStop is also upbeat on the coming launch of Sony's PlayStation Vita handheld gaming device, which has a $249 price-point within the reach of many gamers.

"As for the motion controller launched a year ago, management indicated more software is needed to maintain sales momentum."

Falls eine Ankündigung kommen sollte, dann nur von MS. Sony wird in den nächsten Jahren den Fokus wohl auf den Support der Vita legen.
 
Ich denke, Sony wird 2012 den Fokus auf die Vita legen. Und danach werden sie sich an dem orientieren, was MS macht. Kündigt MS 2013 auf der E3 eine neue Konsole an, wird Sony einen Tag später nachlegen.
 
Wenn bis 2013 echt keine neue leistungsstarke Konsole kommt, werde ich auch wieder auf den PC wechseln...ich hasse es zwar am PC zu spielen aber so geht es nicht weiter.

P.S.: M$ und Sony wünsche ich natürlich in dem Fall Tod und Verderben!

Wii U's 2012 release will push Sony and Microsoft to launch PS4 and Xbox 720 a bit earlier than they had hoped, reckons Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.

Ubisoft's previously gone on record to say it wants next-gen consoles to arrive 'sooner rather than later' to help spark innovation.

"I think [Wii U is] sending the message that the new transition is going to happen - and we're going to have new machines coming soon," Guillemot told Gamasutra.

The CEO has long taken the approach that as new gaming hardware arrives, his company should be one of the first to release games on the platform - and he plans to adopt the strategy again for Wii U.

"We're going to continue to take this approach," he said. "We feel this console is coming with very innovative features that will change the video game industry and we want to be a part of that."

2K boss Christoph Hartmann recently claimed Microsoft and Sony are already "experimenting" with Kinect and Move for what could be the foundations of their next-generation console plans.

Hardware giant AMD piped up this weekend to claim the next Xbox will feature graphics on a par with James Cameron's Avatar.

Ja, aber mindestens.
Und wehe das flimmert!

Bezweifle das die Wii U Einfluss auf die Pläne von Sony und MS haben wird.
Worüber sollte man sich auch sorgen machen?
Die Wii U wird am Anfang bestimmt mehr kosten als je das günstigste 360/PS3 Modell und, zumindest bisher scheinbar, bis auf den Controller nichts besser machen als die beiden anderen. Nein, eher schlechter (Multimedia-Fähigkeiten, Online Gaming sicherlich auch usw.).
Und gerade am Anfang kaufen in erster Linie bestimmt nur die Hardcore Fans eine Wii U.
Wozu Pläne ändern?
Gerade jetzt beginnt doch der zweite Frühling für die 360 und die PS3 hat noch ihre Winterklamotten an:waah:
