"With Hitman, IO Interactive started a new road a few years ago. The last game was divided into episodes which gave the game much longer support. That support has been reduced and that does not seem to be without reason.

We have learned from a reliable source that IO Interactive is currently working on Hitman 2 and that this game will be released in November. Whether it is an episodic game again is not clear, but we will find out quickly enough.

The developer will officially announce Hitman 2 next week. That together with a fairly unique pre-order action, in which players can take the chance to be added to the game as a DLC.

Specific details we have to wait and see as soon as the official announcement is made, you read it here. The game comes at least to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and gets a Season Pass."
