Ich hab mir mal die GMC Eurasia Map Combo vorgenommen (https://www.gmc-logistics.co.uk/euroasia-147) und gestern installiert.Und nun ist ProMods erst der Anfang
ProMods Middle East, RusMap, SibirMap, The Great Steppe, SRmap, AZGE, RoExtended, Road to Asia, Red Sea und div kleinere ^^
Einfach nach GMC Global Combo suchen, um Links, Patches und Reihenfolge in getestetem Szenario zu haben
Damit es etwas einfacher ist, den Überblick zu behalten, hab ich die downloads bzw. .scs map dateien immer noch etwas umbenannt und die jeweilige Nummer aus dem Eintrag der GMC Nummer davor geschrieben. Das war ganz hilfreich bei der Menge der Dateien. Leider hilft es im Mod Manager von ETS2 nicht viel, da der zu ziemlich alles anzeigt und sortiert, nur nicht nach dem Dateinamen (dann wäre das ruckzuck erledigt).
Das downloaden der Maps war auch ein bischen nervenkrieg mit der sharemods download werbe pest seite (wehe dem der den ganzen rotz runterlädt der da einem vorgeschlagen wird...) - da ist ein Nexusmods mit der Option Premium zu erwerben, richtig Gold wert.
Aber es läuft. Fahr grade von Polen über Moskau nach Baku und bin nun kurz hinter woronesch. Die Maps ziehen aber ganz schön an der Performance, die reinen offizellen DLCs laufen bei mir mit 90 fps. Bei den Custom Maps gehts dann trotz 4090 wieder in den Keller. Egal, dafür hat man auch ordentlich was zu sehen. Jetzt mach ich erstmal pause, morgen geht es weiter auf dem Bock, der Stromtransformator muss bis morgen abend abgeliefert werden.

Zu Sharemods ... es ist 2023, so langsam sollten die Menschen wissen, was NoScript, UBlock oder AdGuard sind 
Hast du auch Steam mit Startparametern wie in den eigentlichen Foren erklärt? bspw. mein Eintrag bei 16 GiB RAM
Aber ja, einige Maps futtern immens. Seoul frisst sowas von FPS (Road to Asia, kP ob das nun bei dir dabei ist - kann ich aber sehr empfehlen, besonders Turkmenistan fährt sich wundervoll), bei RoExtended gibt es hier und dort auch richtig dichte Bebauungen.
Besonders nachts, ggf. hilft da eine realistischere Beleuchtungsmod, die gefühlt 70% der Gebäudelichter nachts entfernt.
Das ist eben kein SCS, wo sie so bauen um die Performance beizubehalten - weil die Engine nun einmal ... alt ist

Ne Road to Asia hab ich noch nicht drin, bevor ich mit global Maps loslege hab ich mit der Eurasia angefangen. Ja, die Startparameter für 32 Gig hab ich drin, auch die config angepasst. Nutze auch Open composite und openxr um steamvr zu entgehen. Hab halt cips Traffic mod drin und die sorgt für ordentlich Traffic vor allem vor den Maut stellen. Es sieht aber in VR so verdammt gut aus wenn da viel los ist.
Hatte auch einen klassischen Auffahrt Unfall, Stau rechts wegen eines Unfalls und ich bin links vorbei, dann zog einer rechts raus. Ich bin so in die Eisen aber der Trafo schob....
Das sind DIE VR Momente.

1.49 Update - Used Truck Dealers
Among other changes coming for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator in the 1.49 update, there will be a fairly big feature that will bring a few tweaks that are important to the immersion of the virtual trucking experience. Today, we’ll showcase the Used Truck Dealers!
Used Trucks will be available immediately in the main menu taking you to a selection of trucks that are more budget-friendly compared to brand new vehicles. However, these used trucks come with some mileage and wear, which is indicated by their star rating and a separate window that provides a detailed breakdown of the damage to various parts.
This feature provides an excellent opportunity for players to own a truck without breaking the bank. It's particularly ideal for newcomers who want to hit the road without a hefty investment, while it also adds an extra layer of challenge for experienced players.
One of the most significant changes coming along with this feature is the enhanced damage and repair system. In the past, individual parts would accumulate damage, represented as a percentage, and you could repair them. However, with the 1.49 update, parts will be categorized into three types of damage:
Damage: This type of damage can be fixed by standard repairs, just as before.
Parts Wear: For components showing wear and tear, you'll need to replace them.
Permanent Wear: Parts with permanent wear can only be restored by Total Restoration of the entire vehicle. This is a more expensive procedure, but it's the only way to bring your truck and trailer back to pristine condition.
With the improved damage system comes enhanced control over vehicle maintenance. You can now make informed choices about which parts to repair or replace based on your judgment. Alternatively, you have the option to seek professional advice for the best repair strategy for your truck or trailer.
