Wenn sogar das englische Wikipedia für den Eintrag "selling out" als Paradebeispiel in der Musik das Black Album von Metallica heranzieht, mal ganz weg vom Gedanken "schlecht" oder "gut".

Natürlich steht das da nicht drin, geht ja nur um den Sellout Metallicas als Beispiel.

Eine direkte Quelle kann ich dir jetzt nicht nennen bzw. hab ich auch keine Lust, jetzt rumzusuchen.
War auf jeden Fall auch in einer Doku, wo Kirk Hammet das direkt bestätigte, wie beschissen die Zeit damals war und unter welchem Druck sie auch von der Plattenfirma standen.
