Roxx Next Era Case (Fühlt sich wie eine Ipad Hülle an) oder eben das Echtleder von Roxx.

Das sich dieses case vom Material in etwa wie so eine iPad Hülle von Apple anfühlt.

Wobei die neuen feingewebe cases von Apple jetzt nicht viel schlechter sind als die Leder cases (ob das ein positiver Aspekt ist, muss jeder selbst entscheiden). Die neuen fühlen sich halt wie alcantara an

ah ok, die hatte ich noch nicht, hatte bisher nur Dritthersteller Hpllen fürs iPad.

Ich find das Echtleder Case von Apple eigentlich ziemlich gut von der Haptik. Silikon Case ist natürlich auch ganz interessant.
Hab gelesen das Roxx wär sehr eng, ob da noch ein Panzerglas mit draufpasst.....

Ich hab seit Januar das 15 pro Max mit der Next Era Hülle und Spigen Schutzglas. Das passt 1a. Aber es gibt beim 15er ja 2 Arten von Schutzgläser. Silicon ist mir immer zu "Schmierig". Das Next Era ist auch Silicon, aber eben nicht schmierig und weich.

Casetester auf Youtube hat immer gute Informationen dazu.

Web apps no longer work for iPhone users in the EU
From the very beginning, Apple has allowed users to add websites to the iPhone Home Screen, so that they can be used as web apps. Over the last few years, Apple has added many features to improve support for web apps. For example, iOS 16.4 allowed PWAs to deliver push notifications with icon badges.

But all those improvements seem to have gone now – at least for those in Europe. As noted by developer Maximiliano Firtman, iOS 17.4 beta removes support for progressive web apps (PWA) from the system for users located in the EU.

At first, Firtman believed that PWAs weren’t working in the iOS 17.4 beta due to a bug. However, with the release of iOS 17.4 beta 2 earlier this week, the system now shows an alert telling users that web apps “will open from your default browser from now on.” And although you can still add websites to the iPhone Home Screen, they simply open in the user’s default web browser.

This has a lot of consequences for users. For example, all data stored by these web apps is automatically deleted with the update. Websites can also no longer send push notifications to users.

Oh das ist ja besonders toll für User so mancher Hardware, welche die Webapp verwenden müssen, weil es die native app auch nicht mehr gibt.

Hab ich nie benutzt weil ich es nicht kannte aber hört sich interessant an. Schade dass es weg ist.

Die sollen denen mal ordentlich Druck machen. Apple benimmt sich wie’n kleines Kind derzeit.

Apple hat mit iOS das mit Abstand sicherste Betriebssystem am mobilen Markt und das wird leider nicht so bleiben; wenn sie sich allem öffnen müssen. Ich sehe das schon kritisch und hab lieber ein geschlossenes Ökosystem und dafür ein sicheres. Muss man wirklich den ganzen Rotz wie bei Android zulassen?

Wenn ich nur den App Store nutze, der Standard Browser Safari ist, dann sehe ich absolut keinen Grund warum PWA nicht mehr gehen sollte...

Ich mich genauso wenig. Aber Android ist halt komplett offen und Du kannst frei irgendwelche Betriebssysteme drüber spielen, Apps außerhalb des App Store installieren, usw. Und das macht das Ding schon angreifbarer und nicht umsonst ist iOS so sicher und hat beim iPhone eine Retention Rate von 92%. Die Leute wollen in diesem Apple Ökosystem keine "Eindringlinge" und schon gar keine EU, die Mauern einreißt.

Das geschlossene System ist ja ein USP von Apple, weswegen ich u.a. ein iPhone kaufe. So ein Quatsch das zu öffnen.

Ok, aber man kann ja sein System auch geschlossen halten, wenn man nur Apple Progamme und Stores nutzt?

Oder entstehen Gefahreb schon grundsätzlich aus der Öffnung?

iOS wird dann bestimmt genauso unsicher wie das offene macOS.
So ein Sicherheitsrisiko kann Apple, die EU und vor allem der Kunde nun wirklich nicht wollen.
