2D Glasses

When you watch a 3D movie, there are actually two images being projected onto the screen. That’s why the screen is blurry when you look at it without glasses. In 3D glasses one of the lenses blocks one image and the other lens blocks the other image.

Thus, when you watch a 3D movie each of your eyes is seeing a slightly different image. Your brain combines those images together, creating the illusion of a 3D image.

2D Glasses block the same image with both lenses, so each eye gets the same picture resulting in a 2D image and an elimination of eyeball strain.

Our glasses are high-quality and with 99.9% polarization for a crystal clear picture and top-notch comfort.

Gender Swap - Experiment with The Machine to Be Another

Gender Swap is an experiment that uses themachinetobeanother.org/ system as a platform for embodiment experience (a neuroscience technique in which users can feel themselves like if they were in a different body). In order to create the brain ilusion we use the immersive Head Mounted Display Oculus Rift, and first-person cameras. To create this perception, both users have to synchronize their movements. If one does not correspond to the movement of the other, the embodiment experience does not work. It means that both users have to constantly agree on every movement they make. Through out this experiment, we aim to investigate issues like Gender Identity, Queer Theory, feminist technoscience, Intimacy and Mutual Respect.

Die geekige Idee dahinter zur Seite geschoben, aber das sieht teils echt ganz ordentlich aus.

Die beiden hier könnte man direkt für die neuen Star Wars Filme engagieren ->

"Can two straight lines make 3D possible?"

Below GIFs are quickly spreading throughout the SNS, starting with Tumblr, as they demonstrate how the 3D effect can be achieved without having to use those clunky 3D glasses.
Simply by drawing a couple of lines through what is a flat screen, one can achieve the illusion of viewing a movie (or at least a short clip) in 3D.
So here are 12 3D movie clips that you won't have to have your 3D glasses for to watch.

Hexerei!

Toll.
