Über 120 Wrestler bestätigt

2K hat bekannt gegeben, dass der diesjährige Ableger der erfolgreichen WWE 2K-Serie, WWE 2K16, mit über 120 einzigartigen Wrestlern aufwarten wird. Dabei werden verschiedene Modelle des gleichen Wrestlers nicht gezählt. Zum Vergleich, den 2K ebenfalls anführt, bot WWE 2K15 vergangenes Jahr lediglich 67 einzigartige Wrestler-Modelle. Als bisher bestätigt gelten u.a.:
Adam Rose, Big E, Big Show, Brock Lesnar, Cesaro, Damien Sandow, Dean Ambrose, Diego, Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, Fandango, Goldust, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, John Cena, Kalisto, Kane (Corporate), Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Neville, R-Truth, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Sin Cara, Stardust, Sheamus, Titus O’Neil, Triple H, Tyson Kidd, Xavier Woods und Zack.

WWE 2K16 erscheint europaweit am 27. Oktober 2015 für Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360 und Xbox One.

“I’m Back” – 2K Announces Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator in WWE 2K16 Pre-Order Exclusive

2K today announced the debut of 2015 WWE Hall of Fame inductee and global action film icon Arnold Schwarzenegger in WWE 2K16, the forthcoming release in the flagship WWE franchise. Best known for his acting, bodybuilding and political endeavors, Schwarzenegger, a longtime WWE fan and WWE Hall of Famer, will expand his relationship with WWE through WWE 2K16 with two playable characters – T-800 from The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day films. The playable characters will be available for those who pre-order the game at participating retailers for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems, as well as Xbox One and Xbox 360. WWE 2K16 is scheduled for release on October 27, 2015 in North America and October 30, 2015 internationally.

“I’ve achieved many things in my life, but I’ve always said success means staying hungry and pushing the limits,” said Schwarzenegger. “I was honored to join the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year, and now I’ll continue my WWE legacy with one of my biggest film roles immortalized in WWE 2K16. Match the Terminator against Stone Cold Steve Austin, Seth Rollins or Daniel Bryan, and there’s only one possible outcome: Hasta la vista, baby!”

From early childhood in his native Austria to today, Schwarzenegger represents the ultimate renaissance man, taking risks and defying odds through career accomplishments in bodybuilding, acting, politics and more. He won his first of four Mr. Universe titles at the age of 20, earned seven Mr. Olympia titles and since 1989 has hosted worldwide fitness expositions through the Arnold Sports Festival. Schwarzenegger is a fixture in numerous blockbuster action films, including Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator, Predator, Total Recall, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The Expendables franchise and his most recent release, Terminator Genisys, as well as for his roles in pop-culture favorites Kindergarten Cop and Twins. In addition, Schwarzenegger transcended from Hollywood to the state capitol, serving two consecutive terms as the 38th Governor of California from 2003 to 2010.

Game 11/10. Nur wegen dem Terminator. Fantastisch. Gekauft. Vorbestellt. Hach. :D
 
Ich habe tatsächlich WWE2K15 durchgespielt; zumindest den Karriere-Modus. Hat mir doch recht viel Spaß gemacht, vor allem, da ich selbst derzeit sehr aktiv unterwegs bin, was das anschauen und mitfiebern von RAW und Smackdown angeht. Persönlich bevorzuge ich aber MMA und übe es aus.

Fazit: Ich freue mich. :)
 
2k15 hatte gute Ansätze und ich hoffe das die weitergeführt werden. Von der neuen Engine konnte man nur bedingt etwas erkennen - Single Matches waren schon genial gemacht, auch wegen Stamina.
Ich bin mal auf die Neuerungen gespannt. Ich persönlich hätte gerne mal die Special Matches mit einer neuen Next Gen Engine im Game. Ich hoffe mal, das das auch der Grund war, wieso in 2k15 viele Modi gefehlt haben....

Ich vermisse immer noch, das man mit erspieltem Finisher Punkt aus nem pin auskicken kann. Auch sonst ist vieles zu trocken im Spiel.
Während der Matches müssten mehr Mimik und Gesten der Wrestler rein - Ist schwer zu beschreiben, aber wer sich mal die PPV Matches von bray Wyatt anschaut, wo er mal nach nem nearfall am Gegner Sitzen bleibt und in die ferne starrt... oder Luke Harper der nach der Sitout Powerbomb die Geste "das war´s" macht... Das muss auch dann in nem richtigen Moment kommen - ist wohl sehr schwer einzubauen, aber davon lebt eben Wrestling im TV...
 
Das Spiel soll in zwei Monaten erscheinen und es gibt noch nirgends Ingame Material. Was haben die Entwickler vor? Spätestens zur Gamescom, gab es immer mal wieder Material zu sehen. Ist das Spiel überhaupt vorort anspielbar?
 
Gibt doch schon Material zu sehen. IGN hat Gameplay Videos veröffentlich. Die Wrestlinggames Seiten haben auch schon previews zur Präsentation veröffentlicht.

Und 2k Sport spiele werden vorab nie großartig beworben.
