According to magazine leaks, Judas Code is a F2P Gun Action RPG tri-Ace is developing for the PS Vita. It'll be out this Summer in Japan, and the base game is free, while there will be item microtransactions.

The game is set in the future after a mysterious pillar from space known as Longinus destroys the landscape on Earth during World War 3. In the post-apocalyptic setting, a new humanity fights for survival in this "dramatic warfare RPG".

Players can take on various missions in the cities and progress in the story. Completing missions will also net rewards like random card drops. Building a deck with the cards will determine the player's battle strength. It seems that when the game is played solo, the gameplay is gun action, but in multiplayer it becomes a card battle game or something.

UPDATE: Could the new game be called "Shadow Realms"? As highlighted by VideoGamer.com reader Graviton, the image in a teaser email sent to fans is named "ShadowRealms_Teaser_video.jpg".

Furthermore, EA also filed a trademark for Shadow Realms back in March. This is probably it. Look out for more at Gamescom next month.
