Soul Sacrifice Delta: Europa-Veröffentlichung immer wahrscheinlicher

02.04.14 - Eine Veröffentlichung des Action RPGs Soul Sacrifice Delta in Europa wird immer wahrscheinlicher, nachdem jetzt das australische Classification Board die Altersfreigabe des Sony-Titels geprüft hat.

Erst gestern hatte der spanische Händler XtraLife.es das Spiel in seiner Preisliste aufgeführt. Eine offizielle Bestätigung von Sony steht noch aus.

Kommt am 14. Mai nach Europa!


Japan Studio is bringing three new PS Vita games to Europe and the US, it has confirmed. Soul Sacrifice Delta will hit first, releasing across Europe on 14 May, with Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines and Freedom Wars following later in the year. No details of an exact US release date for Soul Sacrifice were available at the time of writing.

Soul Sacrifice Delta improves on the original with an optimised graphics engine and better AI, making for a more challenging adventure. Character customisation promises to be more in-depth too, plus - according to the game’s producer Oliver Banal - there will be "a lot of new content as well, with new Archfiends inspired by dark retellings of classic fairy tales, new sorcerers, arenas, spells and even more quests." You can also carry over your save if you’ve already finished the original Soul Sacrifice.

Freedom Wars is an action-focused role-playing game in which you play a prisoner serving "a million-year sentence from birth", forced to fight for freedom by completing rescue missions that in turn reduce your sentence. Producer Florence Kum promises the game will have "a robust multiplayer suite in which up to four players can play via Ad-Hoc and eight players via Online to fight civilian Abducters". The more civilians you set free, the shorter your sentence becomes.

Last up is Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, another role-playing game. Specific details on the game are scarce but according to producer Jan Kuczynski you control an ancient Japanese clan tasked with lifting the curse that gives them a lifespan of just two years, by enlisting "the help of gods inspired by Japanese mythology to make sure each new generation of the clan is more powerful than the last."

Für mich leider zu spät. Zurzeit ist's halt bei den Osterangeboten für 17,99 drin.

Ich müsste die 1.5 Version trotzdem zum Vollpreis kaufen, oder? Laut Internet soll Delta auch überarbeitete Grafik etc. mitbringen. Ich denke, ich schnappe mir dann gleich die Delta-Version.

Zumindest, wenn ich das richtig verstehe: Delta ist KEIN Sequel, sondern quasi das Original überarbeitet und um Inhalte erweitert.
 
Soul Sacrifice Delta möglicherweise für PS4

Im Rahmen des besagten Streams beugte sich Co-Moderator Kitao Yasuhiro zu den für "Bloodborne" verantwortlichen Entwicklern von From Software und flüsterte diesen etwas zu, das dummerweise von den Mikrofonen aufgenommen wurde und somit für alle Zuschauer des Live-Streams hörbar war. "Soul Sacrifice Delta wird mit einem Remake für die PlayStation 4 bedacht", so Yasuhiros Worte.

Da eine offizielle Ankündigung seitens Sony noch aussteht, bleibt abzuwarten, ob wir es hier mit einer verfrühten Enthüllung oder schlichtweg einem Missverständnis zu tun haben. Wir halten euch über die weitere Entwicklung natürlich auf dem Laufenden.

Habs auf der Vita auch schon gemocht, aber für schnelle 3D-Actionspiele sind mir Handhelds dann doch ein wenig zu fummelig. Auf einer stationären Konsole wäre die Reihe wirklich besser aufgehoben.
