Just chiming in here hoping to save some other people there money as well. Please listen to the original post and rent this first. This game just feels like crap, it is not fluid at all, so choppy and shaky. There is no smooth feeling to boarding like you get in real life. I just dont know how to explain it any better it just feels awful, shaky, slow, almost like the whole time you play your fighting with the controls while boarding down hill. Really don't have much else to say aside from man this game let me down so bad, I wanted it to be amazing.

Both Atomic and Airwave are correct! There is no FLUID feel to the controls. This MAY have to do with the progression factor later on, but if it does not feel responsive then all hope is lost. You just can not get any speed going to hit the ramps for air. No buttons/triggers/analog helps pick up any speed to hit where you want to launch off of. The mountains are huge in scope with tons of objects to hit, but with dismal controls it just a pretty mountain scene.

I totally agree with the OP, this game sucks balls!! I've played all the amped games and all the tony hawks and this just doesnt even compare to any of them, the graphics suck, just look at shaun's face WTF looks like n64 graphics to me. The game is soooo un smooth, and the camera really doesnt know what to do, and you cant adjust it as you start speed checking or buttering its just awfull. I wish I had rented it first but oh well hope they give me a good trade in price!!

oh man ich wollte mal wieder ein halbwegs brauchbares snowboardspiel. und nun wiede so ein desaster.
aber da war doch noch irgendein snowboardgame wenn ich mich recht entsinne :?
 
Bis eben hatte ich gar nichts von dem Game gehört - warum wohl auch - und ich bin voller Vorfreude in den Thread hier gestolpert. Nun nehmt ihr mir all meine Hoffnung :(

naja ich sehe das spiel so als 60-70 % titel. ign au review spricht genau das an, was man immer wieder liest. schlechte animationen, langweilige missionen und schneller verlust der motivation.
 
es ist leider enttäuschend, sehr undynamisch. eurogamer hat recht, was die steuerung angeht. sie klappt einfach nicht gescheit. die grafik ist trotz guter engine einfach nur sehr langweilig. aber der soundtrack ist cool.

das beste, bzw das schlimmste, ist aber, wie diese schneebretttucke shaun white dargestellt wird. der sieht ja eh schon behämmert im real life aus, aber im game erinnert er mich an nen wischmop:-)
