360/PS3 SEGA Bass Fishing

"Digitally remastered" ports of Dreamcast games SEGA Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5.2 will be released on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network in "early 2011", SEGA's confirmed to Eurogamer.

They join Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi in the growing list of Dreamcast games SEGA will re-release in HD.

"The release of these games marks SEGA's ongoing effort to bring its best-sellers from the Dreamcast era to the latest consoles," said Haruki Satomi, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA.

"We want to enable a new generation of players to experience some of the most celebrated titles our video game history has to offer, while at the same time appealing to our enthusiastic and much appreciated community of fans."

Space Channel 5 Part 2 is all about reporter and dancer Ulala – perhaps one of SEGA's most obsessed-over mascots. Fans will know what "chu chu chu" is all about.

SEGA Bass Fishing couldn't be more different: it's a 3D fishing simulation. Screens are below.

We reported earlier that Dreamcast darlings Space Channel 5: Part 2 and Sega Bass Fishing were slated to come to XBLA, but no release date had been given up til now. Today we received news that the two games will be hitting next gen consoles on October 5.

Ich bin ja sowieso der Meinung es sollte in ausnahmslos jedem Spiel einen Angelpart geben.

Selbst bei LOTRO habe ich als Hobby das Angeln gewählt.

Ich habe mir das Ding als Teil der Dreamcast Collection geholt und das sieht im Gegensatz zu Sonic und Crazy Taxi echt gut aus, sowohl die Texturen als auch das Wasser.
Lediglich Schrift und Displays sehen nicht ganz so gut aus (kennt man ja auch so von Emulatoren), aber da hat man sowieso keine Zeit für wenn man einen Fisch am Haken hat. :grins:

Steuerung mit dem xbox Controller ist okay, aber im Gefecht sind mir die Analogsticks ein bißchen zu unhandlich.
Vor allem wenn man die Rute flach, nach links oder rechts halten soll finde ich das mit dem Analogstick nicht ganz so einfach da man nicht immer weiß ob man jetzt auch wirklich genau in die Richtung hält.

Aber ich habe mir jetzt ein neues "Rapala Pro Bass Fishing 2010" Bundle mit Angelrute bestellt (knapp 30 Euro

) und mal schauen ob das mit der auch klappt.
