Looking for a german game

Hi everyone

First of all, sorry for writing in English, hope people will undertsand ^^


I have a request : I'm currently learning German and i'm looking for a game that would help me learning this language. CAUTION : I'm not looking for an educative game or interactive program.

I'm looking for a TRUE game that I would play in German so I could be used to listen/read german.
I thought about Skyrim or Fallout, because both games contain lots of dialogues ^^
Or maybe even a Visual or Light Novel, something like that

Any idea/suggestion ? ^^

If you own a Ps3 you could think about Heavy Rain. However, for all those games you would need a certain basic level of knowledge to make it worthwhile.

+ I know it's gonna be sooo hard, especially at the beggining (since my german knowledge is very low)

If you are resistant against outdated graphics and old fashioned gameplay I would recommend the german version of Planescape Torment (PC via http://www.gog.com/ plus german language patch). I think there isn't any game out there which offers more text than Torment.

...but any adventure game will be just what the doctor ordered. There are quite a few very good adventures from german developers. For example The Whispered World, Zak McKracken, Jack Keane, The Night of the Rabbit, The Book of Unwritten Tales or Deponia.

I mean, it is inspired by Germans ... like Call of Duty 2 ... or Blitzkrieg ...



Maybe you should have a look at rpg's like Skyrim or Morrorwind. They have a lot of text ... even a lot of written text. But do not choose Oblivion, that one is bady translated.
