Kalimba is getting a significant piece of downloadable content on April 22, 2015. The add-on will be free until May 6, 2015. A patch will also hit the game that will add new game modes and levels. Llama mode will be a local multiplayer speed run mode, which allows up to six players to compete for the highest score. Puma mode will pit players against offline shadows.

The Dark Void and Co-Optimistic add-on packs will be free at launch but will cost $3.99 and $5.99 in May. The Dark Void introduces ten new single-player levels. The Co-Optimistic pack adds new co-op levels. Kalimba will launch on Windows on April 22, 2015 for $9.99. The add-on packs will not be free for Steam users.
