Aber da die Bridge ja noch neu ist, merkt man die schlechten Bewertungen dort am meisten.

Was heißt lassen wir das? Das ist nun mal ein Fakt.... bis gestern hätte ich auch nicht gedacht das Philips die HUE Bridge so durch eine Firmware beschneidet das u.a. Osram Produkte nicht mehr funktionieren. Und das obwohl das Protokoll Zigbee ein offener Industrie Standard ist,

Was meinst du eigentlich warum Philips diesen Schritt macht?
Weil sie möchten, dass die potentielle Kundschaft doch bitteschön im eigenen Haus kauft und nicht bei Osram oder sonstwo. Wenn sie jetzt auch noch hingehen würden und die eigenen Geräte davon ausschließen, wäre das betriebswirtschaftlich ziemlich dumm und ein Schnitt ins eigene Fleisch.
Dann wäre der Shitstorm noch größer und der Verlust der Kundschaft wäre noch viel größer.

Es ist jetzt schon ziemlich dumm, wie man im Entwicklerforum, Amazon Bewertungen, FB, reddit usw nachlesen kannn..... und es gab schon eine Aussage von Philips, das sie bzgl der Living Colors nix garantieren und es ggfs auch deaktivieren...aber wir lassen das ?

so... langsam trudlen die ersten Berichte ein das die Gen2 Lampen nach dem Update auch nicht mehr funktionieren...

We recently upgraded the software for Philips Hue to ensure the best seamless connected lighting experience for our customers. This change was made in good faith. However, we under estimated the impact this would have on a small number of customers who use lights from other brands which could not be controlled by the Philips Hue software. In view of the sentiment expressed by our customers, we have decided to reverse the software upgrade so that lights from other brands continue to work as they did before with the Philips Hue system.





We are working on the reversal of the upgrade and will shortly confirm when this will be available.





Philips remains committed to providing our customers with the best possible connected lighting experience. That is why we launched the Friends of Hue partnership program to test and certify that products and platforms from other brands work seamlessly with Philips Hue. Customers using uncertified lights may continue to have the same incompatibility issues as before, such as lights not dimming to off, creating the right colors or scene experience.





Philips welcomes other brands to join as Friends of Hue so that we can work together to ensure seamless and great lighting experiences.

Hier mal die offizielle Anleitung von Philips um Living Color Lampen an die HUE Bridge zu binden.

To add a LivingColors to your Philips Hue Bridge, you have to follow the following steps:

1. Reset your LivingColors remote (this will remove all settings in your remote), by pressing the reset button on the back when the battery cover is removed.
2. Reset your Hue Bridge via the remote (this will remove all settings, scenes, schedules, rules, etc. from the Hue Bridge): By pressing the linkbutton on top of the Hue Bridge, hold the remote on top of the Hue Bridge and then hold "I" (on) and "1" (from presets) until the LED around the linkbutton and the LED on the remote stops blinking.
3. Hold the remote on top of the LivingColors and hold the "I" (on) until the LED on the remote stops blinking.
4. Hold the remote on top of the Hue Bridge, press the linkbutton on top of the Hue Bridge and hold down "I" (on) on the remote until the LED on the remote stops blinking.
5. Last step is to do a POST on: http://<ip-adress.of.the.bridge>/api/<username>/lights or open the Philips Hue app, connect to your bridge, open the settings from the sidebar menu, go to "My lights", tap on "Connect new lights" and tap on "Auto search".
6. Wait for the search to finish and you should be able to control your LivingColors from within the Philips Hue ecosystem.

Die sollen mal schnellsten E14 Fassung ins HUE Programm aufnehmen. Ich hab hier im Haus nur noch eine(!) E27 im Einsatz.

35,99 Euro bei Amazon ... Aber man sollte sie nicht in Szenarien mit farbweschel einbauen .... Das bekommt sie im Gegensatz zur ne Philips Lampe nicht so smooth hin.

Guter preis, aber wie war das mit dem update nochmal, ich dachte man kann keine andere birne mehr mit der hue bridge verbinden.

Pili.... Lese mal den Thread Philips hat es wieder rückgängig gemacht nach einem extremen shitstorm auf fb und Amazon ..

Das einzige was jetzt nicht mehr geht ist das steuern der 3rd Party Lampen über Siri., aber über die App geht es ohne Probleme

LC Gen 2 soll ja mit der Bridge verbunden werden können. Problem ist, wir haben hier eine Gen 2 (steht auch auf der Verpackung) mit der ovalen Fernbedienung, auf der hinten auch Gen 2 steht. Und die will sich nicht mit der Bridge verbinden, mit der Fernbedienung kann man aber problemlos sämtliche Hue Bulbs steuern.

Nach Nachforschung im Netz hab ich wohl rausgefunden, dass die ersten Gen 2 noch mit der alten, ovalen Fernbedinung verkauft wurden, die aber bereits mit dem aktuellen Standard arbeiten. Da gibts zwar Anleitungen, wie das auch mit der RC funktionieren soll, tut es aber nicht.

Da muss wohl die neue, runde Fernbedienung her? Oder hast du den ultimativen Tipp?

For the LivingColors (gen 2) with oblong remote it's hard to determine if it works with Hue, because it depends on the software version of the LivingColor. Some work, some don't. No guarantees.
You can try it using the following steps:

2. Reset your Hue Bridge via the remote (this will remove all settings, scenes, schedules, rules, etc. from the Hue Bridge): By pressing the linkbutton on top of the Hue Bridge, hold the remote on top of the Hue Bridge and then hold "0" (off) and Blue on colorwheel (-6h) until the Hue Bridge reboots.
3. Hold the remote on top of the LivingColors and hold the "I" (on) until the LivingColor stops blinking and turns green.
4. Hold the remote on top of the Hue Bridge, press the linkbutton on top of the Hue Bridge and hold down "I" (on) on the remote until the LED around the linkbutton stops blinking.
5. Last step is to do a POST on: http://<ip-adress.of.the.bridge>/api/<username>/lights or open the Philips Hue app, connect to your bridge, open the settings from the sidebar menu, go to "My lights", tap on "Connect new lights" and tap on "Auto search".
