High Voltage Software (best known for Wii FPS The Conduit) have announced that their upcoming game Animales de la Muerte will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade.
First announced back in 2008 as a WiiWare exclusive title, the game is a top down shooter with a badass premise: a Mexican zoo has been infected and its animals have been zombie-fied. With a variety of powerful weapons at your disposal, you have to kill zombie animals while capturing those unaffected by the outbreak.
Set in the Valle De La Sol Public Zoo, you play as Marco and Maria Mendoza, grandchildren of the zoo's owner. Armed with weapons like chainsaws, bullwhips, caddle prods, flamethrowers, rocket launchers and a variety of guns, you're tasked with annihilating hordes of zombie animals, including monkeys, elephants, penguins, warthogs and walruses, in the bloodiest way possible. Each animal has their own special attack, and the kids can learn numerous "legendary attacks" to help their fight.
