This. Wichtiger für mich sind Storytelling und Umfang. Das Zitat, dass es sich um ein "battlefield" zwischen Licht und Dunkelheit handelt, beunruhigt mich jedenfalls etwas.
 
Im Trailer lässt sich eine neue "Art" von Gegner erkennen:

Bin auch ziemlich angetan. Die Atmosphäre war sofort wieder da. Die Szene mit der neuen Uzi fand ich richtig geil. :dhoch:

Egal in welcher Form es kommt, ich brauch das! Ich liebe Alan und das ist Alan in bester Form und kein befürchteter Minispiel-Käse.
 
Ich bin wohl dabei, fand Alan Wake schon ziemlich gelungen - auch wenn es nicht unbedingt mein Lieblingsgenre ist. Aber die Atmosphäre war einfach genial!

Erste Infos aus einem finnischen Magazin:

-Arizona / Route 66 environment - takes place in an episode out of Night Springs.

- contains a lot of information about events after the first game.

- If the original Alan Wake was a combination of Stephen King and Lostia, the American Nightmare is more Quentin Tarantino From Dusk Till Dawn-style.

- The game's story takes many hours to share. In addition, it can be found in an explosive action-packed arcade mode called "Fight Till Dawn". It got thrown into the middle of eerie abandoned places. The player is armed with an extensive arsenal of sawn shotguns robust automatic weapons, light torches, and, of course, a flashlight. The enemy is growing wave of wave and become stronger. If you gonna be until dawn, then you win, Lehto says.

- Remedy confirmed that the American Nightmare should not be the last adventure Alan Wake. [...] the follow-up is surely coming, but the details and schedules can not yet be revealed.

Find ich zwar ein bisschen schade, aber da ich großer Fan von Tarantino und From Dusk Till Dawn bin, geht das klar. :dhoch:

Könnte ich mir aber auch vorstellen. Aber ich glaube, solange könnte ich gar nicht warten.
 
Das sieht schon fast wieder mehr nach Max Payne aus. Solche Waffen passen irgendwie gar nicht zu Alan Wake. Außerdem finde ich das Setting in Arizona extrem scheiße. Alan Wake war ja gerade wegen dem Setting im nordwestpazifischen Raum so gut. Die haben systematisch das entfernt was ich beim Original so sehr mochte. Hoffentlich ist das nicht erfolgreicher als das Original und hoffentlich spielt der richtige 2te Teil (sofern es einen gibt) dann wieder in Bright Falls und Umgebung.
