Vaulters Addon erscheint am 25. Januar!

This first Endless Space 2 Expansion re-introduces players to the Vaulters, our all-time fan favorite civilization.

A new civilization means, as usual, a new way to play: the Vaulters will have the ability to teleport and use the Argosy - their legacy colony ship featured in the Prologue video.

They will also have their own heroes (including the famous Opbot), technologies, buildings, a new starting special node, the Sisters of Mercy minor civilization that they brought with them from Auriga, and of course, a brand-new main quest. Will they discover the truth about their Gods? Will they find a new home to start all over? Will they save their people that stayed on Auriga?

The Expansion will also feature new exotic combat modules like boarding and taking control of ships, as well as the Pirate Diplomacy gameplay enabling negotiations with their leader.

Bei Steam ist es gerade im Angebot, also habe ich mal zugeschlagen. Gefällt mir insgesamt sehr gut. Die Rassen spielen sich wirklich alle sehr unterschiedlich und haben eine eigene Storyline. Die verschiedenen Mechaniken sind gut durchdacht und greifen hervorragend ineinander. Das UI ist Weltklasse, eines der besten die ich bisher im Strategie-Bereich gesehen habe. Allein das man mit einem einfachen Rechtsklick jedes Menü schließen kann. :liebe:

Der Einstieg ist etwas holprig und durch die Komplexität wird man etwas erschlagen. Aber mit der Zeit erschließt sich die Tiefe des Spiels. Die KI ist dagegen der größte Schwachpunkt von Endless Space 2, aber diese Probleme ziehen sich quasi durch das ganze Genre.

Fazit: Ich kann es nur empfehlen, etwas besser als Stellaris, wobei Stellaris mit dem kommenden Patch tiefgreifend überarbeitet werden soll und dabei einige Elemente von Endless Space 2 kopieren wird.

Achja, der Soundtrack. :huldig:

Endless Space 2: Awakening introduces the Nakalim playable Major faction as well as the Academy Empire. You will now be able to interact and negotiate directly with Isyander. As his grand plan begins to unfold and rumors of the Lost begin to circulate, the Academy is set to take a more active role in the future of the galaxy.
