Was auch ganz interessant ist:

Der Cel Shading Look wurde auch deswegen gewählt, weil die Episodenanzahl noch nicht festgelegt ist und je nach Interesse immer weitere Episoden entwickelt werden.

Xbox Wire: D4 has a very specific cel-shaded visual style. Why did you choose this visual direction?

Swery65: D4 has an episodic structure, so if the fans really like what they see, the series could continue for a pretty long time. If that happens, when a new player wants to start from the very first episode, I wanted to make sure they didn’t feel like they were getting into something old or outdated. Those were the points I had in mind while I was iterating on the development of the style we have today.

Hier mal ein paar Reviews:

I was worried that, following Deadly Premonition's cult success, Swery65 would struggle with an all-new followup, perhaps trying too hard to be quirky, or otherwise failing to live up to the bizarre bar he set in the last outing. D4's opening episodes, however, have smoothly alleviated such fears - not only is it a competently made adventure game with solid motion controls and a crazy plot, it's also a great comedy action story that marries the macabre and the eccentric in a way that just feels so very natural.
Swery65 doesn't have to try. It's clear now that this insanity is just what he does, and he does it so damn well.

Bottom Line: D4 is ridiculous. It's weird, and silly, and makes very little sense. It's also hilarious, and packed with some of the most engaging motion-controlled sequences I've ever played. Coming from someone who generally doesn't like the Kinect, that's a damn big achievement!
Recommendation: A potential must for Deadly Premonition fans, and worth checking out for anybody who wants a strange, strange adventure game.

4/5

Despite how short some of these quests are, it's insane how much detail was put into just about every facet of the game. You can find magazines related to sports, the government, and topics such as the Verizon Center and the Lumière brothers just lying about in the game's world, which provide brief and interesting real-world facts. There are also badges to find, which grant you credits that you can use to buy food, stamina, or vision points, as well as extra outfits for David and his companions. Very rarely am I tempted to replay an adventure game right after I completed it, but that's what I did with D4. Oh, and there's also full leaderboard support.

It ends on a cliffhanger, but D4 has me intrigued, mostly because I felt a genuine attachment to the characters. I want to see this journey through to the end, and the classic Swery wackiness kept me interested throughout the relatively familiar adventure genre gameplay

The verdict: Superb: A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage to what is a supreme title.

Habe mich letztens auch wieder gefragt, was mit D4 passieren wird. Sehr schön, dass es schon draußen ist. Jetzt muss ich nur noch auf die Konsole warten. :D
