Neue ATARI und SEGA Classic Konsolen und Handheld-Geräte angekündigt
AtGames gibt bekannt, dass eine neue Classic Konsolen samt Classic Handheld-Geräte veröffentlicht werden.
AtGames bringt im Herbst 2017 mehrere neue Classic Konsolen auf den Markt. Dabei wurde die Atari Flashback 8 Gold Konsole in mehreren Versionen, Atari Flashback Portable, Sega Genesis Classic Game Console und Sega Genesis Ultimate Portable Game Player vorgestellt. Die Atari Flashback 8 Gold Konsole wird es in zwei Editionen geben: Activision Edition, Standard Edition.
Die Atari Konsole umfasst über 100 Spiele und Klassiker wie zum Beispiel Pitfall!, Taito’s Space Invaders, Kaboom!, River Raid, Centipede und Millipede. Dazu gibt es zwei kabellose „high performance 2.4ghz“ Controller, ganz im Stile des Atari 2600 Originals. Darüber hinaus gibt es zwei klassische Controller Ports um optional kabelgebundene Joysticks anzuschließen. Die Atari Flashback 8 Gold Konsole unterstützt 720p HDMI Output, Scan Line Filtering und ein Save/Pause/Zurückspuelen-Feature für alle Spiele.
Die tragbare Version „Atari Flashback Portable“ bietet euch 70 Spiele wie PAC-Man, Dig Dug oder Pitfall! und ihr könnt über eine SD-Karte sogar eure eigenen Spiele laden. Angetrieben wird das 2,8 Zoll große Display mit aufladbaren Batterien, damit der Spaß nie ein Ende hat.
Die Sega Genesis Classic Game Konsole bietet euch 85 Spiele. Mit dabei ist beispielsweise die komplette Sonic-, Mortal Kombat-, Phantasy Star- und Shining Force-Serie, die damals erhältlich war. Darüber hinaus könnt ihr über den Kartenslot eure alten Cartridges nutzen. Im Karton warten noch zwei kabellose Controller auf euch. Ebenfalls gibt es zwei Controller Ports um optional die Originalen anschließen zu können.
Der Sega Genesis Ultimate Portable Game Player umfasst auch 85 Spiele und auch hier könnt ihr über eine SD-Karte eure eigenen Spiele laden.

Muss hier mal kurz einwerfen, auch wenn die letzte Antwort schon ein bischen her ist, dass es sich bei den Lizenzkonsolen von AT doch gar nicht um das Atari Box-Projekt handelt.

Our objective is to create a new product that stays true to our heritage while appealing to both old and new fans of Atari.
Inspired by classic Atari design elements (such as the iconic use of wood, ribbed lines, and raised back); we are creating a smooth design, with ribs that flow seamlessly all around the body of the product, a front panel that can be either wood or glass, a front facing logo, indicator lights that glow through the material, and an array of new ports (HDMI, 4xUSB, SD). We intend to release two editions: a wood edition, and a black/red edition.
As you can guess, those ports suggest modern internal specs. It also means that while we will be delivering classic gaming content, we will also be delivering current gaming content.
We know you are hungry for more details; on specs, games, features, pricing, timing etc. We’re not teasing you intentionally; we want to get this right, so we’ve opted to share things step by step as we bring Ataribox to life, and to listen closely to Atari community feedback as we do so. There are a lot of milestones, challenges and decision points in front of us in the months ahead. We’ll be giving you lots more information and status updates as we progress, and we are thrilled to have you along for the ride!
